A fantastic fish & chip shop in the heart of Hawes. A large varied menu of good food freshly cooked. We sat in, but take away is also available.

Called after a busy day walking the trails around Hawes. Fish chips and mushy peas with a splash of salt and vinegar, spot on.

Visited for take away after a day walking in the dales. Staff were friendly and helpful- told us where to get cash as they don’t take cards. Food was cooked to order and portions were large - we couldn’t manage all the chips.

Visited here whilst staying in Hawes. Had to queue out of the door but was worth the wait. Fresh flaky fish with lovely batter and amazing chips.

Got there at 6.50 this evening. Queuing out of the door. Not a problem. Good sign. 40 minutes later and still hadn’t got through the door. Literally 4 people served in 40 minutes. Can’t review the food as we have it up as a bad...More

As this us a small independent chippy I think they would be very obliging to your request for a shall portion. If my memory serves me well I think there is a child’s menu but not sure.
