Tea shops in the Yorkshire Dales should be able to rustle up a decent cream tea and indeed many do. Not this one, microwaved warm stodgy scones, a very small portion of whipped cream - the jam was ok. We won't be returning

Are you a competitor trying to hurt our business? we've not had a single complaint about the wonderful scones since we started trading five years ago.

Very wet day, but a welcoming establishment with a good selection of food , cooked to order. Opted for cheese scones with wensleydale cheese and chutney. These were lovely as was sitting amongst artwork. The service was attentive and good.
