Very nice food and drink. We came during lunch time (12pm), but unfortunately most of the special scones were gone already. We ordered Scottish breakfast and carrot&parsnip soup and they were lovely! Coffee was also nice considering I'm quite picky about it. They don't accept...More

Good food, perfectly priced and friendly. Always get the full English which always looks clean (by that I mean the food presentation). The new owners are doing a good job and happily call this a treat now and again for breakfast! Knaresborough is a small...More

Thanks so much for this. We do try to keep things local so it's nice that we get recognised for it. As for being 'new', Rachel and I have been running the place for 15 months now. :). Hope to see you again soon.

The cafe is well up on the TripAdvisor ratings. As someone who hasn't been here in 30 years, it is a trusted source to find good eats. The cafe is a small, family run business (which don't take credit card, which wasn't a problem). The...More

My usual fare has been a bacon sandwich or scone. With a friend for lunch who plumped for the BLT with chips. I followed her recommendation and have to say it was an excellent decision. As usual the bacon is from a local supplier, the...More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a nice review. The bacon we get from the local butcher is rather special (as are the sausages, pies and black pudding from the same supplier). Thanks again.

Friendly, family-run cafe on the High Street, in the historic market town of Knaresborough. Famous for our breakfasts and hand-cut skin-on chips, we also serve an excellent range of teas and coffees, as well as the usual cafe fare such as jacket potatoes, burgers, quiche, chilli, sandwiches and paninis, soup, cakes and scones. Many items are homemade using produce from independent local suppliers. Vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options are available.
