Menu was a little bit different, pheasant curry was so nice it sold out. Vegetarian hot pot was delicious and the sponge puddings perfect. Cost a little more than normal pub food but was well worth it. You may need to book as when we...More

Great place for a snack and a drink, on your own or with friends, in one of the cosy rooms or out front watching the world go by.

Location is a small village with parking in the lane. Food is excellent quality and service is good. The room was a little cool. Recommend a visit.

The first thing that struck me upon stumbling through the door of the Blacksmith’s Arms and out of the cold was the indistinguishable smell of an open fire. And what a marvellous fire it was that the local blacksmith might have been justly proud of,...More

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, we relaxed in the small area in front of The Blacksmith's Arms and enjoyed afternoon tea (for some) and some ales. When you visit, make time to visit the adjacent church - especially the Anglo-Saxon Crypt.

Hi, we have a full lunch menu including roasts, we serve from 12-4.45pm, to be sure of a table inside between 12 and 2 it would probably better to book even if there is only 2 of you, after then you should be ok.
