This is somewhere I would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to eat with a great atmosphere and appetising menu. So much choice and staff were attentive and we were never kept waiting. I can't thank the staff enough for a great experience

After visiting my pony at Appleton Grange we thought it would be nice to stop on the way home for a sunday lunch.....I had a quick look on TripAdvisor & this place came up, we were not disappointed!! Its probably one of the best Sunday...lunches we have ever had (that's coming from someone who is very fussy when it comes to Sunday roasts) everything was great the place the food the wine & the staff!! So much choice & plenty of it....the chef even came out & checked we were happy & that we had enough.....soooo impressed we've booked a table of 8 for a couple of weeks time for my mum & dads wedding anniversary 💕More

Went to the Horseshoe Inn for Sunday dinner and was not disappointed one bit. An outstanding, hearty, hot and delicious meal was served and although we all struggled to finish it, we all cleared our plates. From entering the pub, we were made very welcome...and throughout the service, we were repeatedly asked how the meal was. Tom (owner and chef) spoke to us at the table and asked how the meal was and treat us like a local. Overall a very lovely Sunday dinner and overall experience at this lovely little village pub. Fantastic value for money and we will most definitely return in the future. Thank you to Tom and AngelaMore

We went today for the first time for sunday dinner. Such a lovely atmosphere hits you as soon as you get through the door. The Landlady and staff are all smiling and welcoming you in. we ate a superb roast dinner and a pudding that...was delicious. the prices are very good and the service first class, nothing to much trouble. the landlady and her chef husband make sure that everybody is well looked after. the staff clearly love working there and this reflects on how we were treated - very well indeed. we will be back!!!More

Rang last minute for a table for 4 adults on Sunday 1st December. The landlady had to move some tables / bookings around to fit us in for the time we wanted and I'm so glad she did. The Sunday lunch was quite simply the...best I've ever eaten in a pub or restaurant (and I've eaten quite a few). A really nice touch was the chef popping out to see if everything was okay. The landlady and her team were warm and friendly too without being overpowering. Spot on. A real gem of a find. Hope to go back soon.More

We have recently moved into West Rounton, we’ve frequented the Horseshoe on several occasion as they serve an excellent choice of real ales! We’ve also had a meal there (which was also excellent!) but never had a Sunday lunch, until last Sunday. The place was...busy as ever on Sunday so we had previously booked a table. Well, what can I say? We both had the beef and it absolutely melted in your mouth, fantastic Yorkshire’s and a good choice of vegetables. I’m not a great lover of Sunday lunches usually, I can take them or leave them to be honest, but Karen my better half considers herself as some what of a connoisseur, we both agreed after the meal, that this was the best Sunday lunch we have EVER had! And trust me, because of Karen’s love for Sunday lunch, we’ve had a few in our time! Angie and Tom who run the Horseshoe, can’t do enough for anyone and everyone that walks through there door. Well done and thanks for a great lunch. We seem to have struck gold with our village pub!More
