The service was uncoordinated. Plenty of staff but no one taking charge. The staff avoided any eye contact and so people were left waiting a long time to get seated ( lots of empty tables ) and to order. People behind us in the queue...had finished their meal before our order was even taken. While tables were cleaned between customers there was food on the floor for the whole of our time there and the condiment containers were dirty and sticky. I ordered a fish pie. This was very dry with not much fish in. The edges were so baked on they were inedible. Having finally managed to cut a piece off I couldn’t break it down further with my teeth and had to put it back on my plate. It seemed to have been cooked some time previously and either left to dry out then reheated or left for far too long in a hot oven. Such a shame. We had hoped an art house venue would be much betterMore

Enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and beautiful cake, after a lovely walk down the old railway lines to Easby Abby. Clean and well organised, lovely little indoor shops. Well worth a visit.

So grateful to have found this smart cosmopolitan cafe on our visit to Richmond. Its a repurposed railway station and we sat inside where the tracks would have been. Fun!. My wife and daughter are coeliacs so must follow a gluten free diet. The menu...here is marked up for gluten free and they have gluten free bread. Our server seemed very aware of allergies and took care to ensure the kitchen knew all about them. As a result we all enjoyed a really nice lunch. We all had the ham and WensleyDale cheese sandwich with tomato chutney. It was yummy! I'd definitely recommend this place and return.More

A friend & I called for lunch after a morning out visiting. All well organized to cope with the situation we find ourselves in. Wait to be seated, table service from start to finish. Busy place but staff can still smile & be pleasant. We...had battered king prawns, sweet potato fries & Chunk chips. All beautiful cooked, well presented & really hot. King Prawns great to share & had we realized size of portions sweet potato fries would have served us both. Tea & Cappuccino good. We will be back.More

We don't know Richmond well and wanted some lunch. Don't know any other cafes so came here. What a lovely find! The staff were all helpful and friendly. We had battered prawns, sweet potato fries, chicken flat bread and fish n chips for my daughter....All really well cooked. Batter crispy. Really nice side of harrisa potatoes. The sweet potato fries were some of best we have had. The pizzas looked lovely too. The garlic sauce had a puch that I can still taste :-) but in a good garlicy way. Will deffinitely come back when we visit again!More

Took daughter for a special birthday lunch to this lovely place. The setting is gorgeous and so nostalgic being set in a well care for old railway station. The place was buzzing with families and couples. The staff flew around taking orders and delivering food...to tables always with a smile in their faces, how delightful. The food was really good, especially the very thin based pizza. Can’t wait for next visit.More

I ate here before a film (yes!) and very much enjoyed it. There’s a good selection of nibbles, sandwiches, flatbreads and a handful of main meals. Not to forget the cakes! Service ends at 8pm, 7pm on Sundays. Beer and spirits, but strangely no wine.......I’d recommend it for lunch, coffee and cake or a pre- film meal.More

We enjoyed a lunch of coffee and pizza. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and prices were reasonable. Good to wander round the shop, outlets and art exhibition afterwards.

Bit of a mixed bag. The service was very good and the food portions were generous but it wasn’t all good. The hash browns were so greasy that we couldn’t eat them and the sausage roll and cheese scone we purchased to eat off site...later in the day were not to our taste. Great outdoor seating available.More

Went for lunch whilst visiting Richmond. Ordered the overpriced chicken noodle soup. Didn’t come with bread as standard (would have had to pay extra) and was distraught to find it didn’t seem to come with chicken either. Won’t be going back.More
