Whilst moored up on the Grand Canal on our holidays, we found this amazing place for a takeaway - very yummy food, all in our party enjoyed their dishes The staff were lovely too when we collected. Would definitely recommend 😁

Restaurant is located inside the local pub. Fantastic food. I had the Adraki Murg Tikka starter and Railway Mutton curry. My partner had the Spicey Chilli Chicken starter and Lamb Karahi main. Staff friendly and the restaurant was not busy. Highly recommended and I will...be back again soon.More
We love this Indian - every time we are in the area we come here. The railway mutton curry is delicious ……. Actually everything is good. Fairly priced, good service, nice atmosphere
We were introduced to this wonderful restaurant, situated within the Royal Oak in crick, by some friends. The staff were lovely, so welcoming, the restaurant is beautiful, best of all they were Liverpool supporters! I had the Railway mutton curry and it was divine. The...meat was so tender, absolutely gorgeous. All the meals were lovely, 1 being a vegetarian. A hidden gem, highly recommended.More
Tried this place on 21st May, food was average. Those who say its the best curry they've ever had have obviously not tried Asia in Daventry!! Asia has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food is absolutely Top Notch. Would...highly recommend.More
Met up with friends and had a great evening. The food was absolutely delicious and it was clear why the restaurant was busy and the reviews are great. Will certainly return
Excellent food, certainly one of the Best Indian’s in the area. Attentive friendly service. We have also used the Indian Lodge for takeaways. Highly Recommended
Arrived at 22.07 on a Saturday night. A gleeful bald Indian chap who was mopping the floor said "shut mate" (I'm not his mate, far from it). No explanation or attempt to placate a now very annoyed potential customer. I glanced back outside (still light...out, it is summer) I looked into the pub, in full swing. I asked, "did you shut 7 minutes ago"? No reply was given. I went back to. My narrowboat to check I wasn't going bonkers. There it was! Open until midnight on Saturdays. No, I wasn't going bonkers, I had just encountered the "don't give a stuff" brigade who enjoyed their moment of power over me.More
We ordered a vegetarian takeaway with poppadoms. The poppadoms were really good with no excess oil and the chutney accompaniments were delicious. Between 2 of us we had side dishes of channa massala, baigan bartha, bhindi and tarka dhall, with steamed rice and a peshwari...naan. All were very tasty, not oily and not too hot. Pick up was quick and easy and everyone friendly and helpful. The menu is quite small by Indian restaurant standards, but everything we had was excellent.More
Good selection on the menu, service was efficient and friendly and food was very good. Covid-19 arrangements worked well without bother.
Food bland , rushed service , won’t be back as wasn’t what I expected such a shame as when I’ve eaten here before it’s been ok
Never had a bad meal, the best Indian I have ever had. Have had many eat ins and takeaways. Very family friendly and amazing service nothing is too much trouble. Fresh food cooked to order can not recommend enough. Would give it more than 5...stars if I could.More
We live in Crick and ordered a takeaway post COVID lockdown. The food was excellent. One of the best Indian meals we have had for a number of years. We had to wait 20 minutes from the point of order by phone. Friendly staff! Highly...recommendedMore
One of our favourite Indians for a local meal, has now turned to takeaway, to enable a change of cook in our houshold. A lovely change for the evening-ordered in advance to maintain social distance rather than waiting in the bar, but.....prompt service and ability...to collect and eat in the home. A friendly local face or 2 (at correct distance) when collecting also raised a smile.More
Brilliant Restaurant located in a Fantastic village pub , Always good beer in pub , spoilt for Choice with Royal Oaks Gin Selection, and a jewel in the crown an excellent restaurant and takeaway, Nice to be able to saviour a cold pint while waiting...for your takeaway. Beers are always top quality. And a warm welcome to villages and visitors.More
