Went here for a quick dinner whilst in Alnwick and found the food to be tasty and reasonably priced. Portions were a good size and the food was quite well presented. Service was fine and the prices were good too. The burgers were moist and...More

Average choice of meals on the menu, we had a cheese burger and a goats cheese linguine. We ate quite late in the evening. About 9pm as they didn't have any tables earlier on. Nice election of drinks, good red wine. Our meals were between £8...More

Excellent value for a two course meal between 5 & 7 p.m. We had mains of Cumberland sausage & mash and fish & chips, both done to perfection. The veggies were very nice whole cooked carrots and mange tout with a fresh crunchiness to them....More

We ate here a couple of times during our recent stay in Alnwick, and couldn't fault it. We had the "Early Bird" menu on both occasions - available 5-7pm for £9.95pp for two courses. Superb value. One word of caution - choose your starter and...More

Loved the variation of drink that were on offer and was cheap compared to other places in Alnwick! I am a local person, there is always a friendly person in this pub and it also does pub food! The only complaint I would have is...More

There is a small car park at the side of the hotel. We ended up parking in a public car park just behind the hotel, but it's free.

Well, next time we come to England, we will be stopping by to visit. Perhaps have a pint of Guinness and a bite to eat.
