We ate here on Trip Advisor's recommendation and it was a very worthy one. The service was very friendly and prompt. The menu was refreshingly short but filled with very varied and interesting dishes. We really enjoyed our choices: smoked haddock, pad Thai with shrimps,...More
It was a pleasure having you dine with us and I hope you'll be able to return one day. Many thanks for taking the time to write a review of Thai Vibe.
Whilst the service was slow the food was very well presented and very tasty. However, having been to Thailand 4 times, and as a lover of Thai food, I would describe the menu as unexpected. The restricted choice would best be described as inspired by...More
Thanks for the review. My Thai chef was part delighted and part frustrated by your comment '...inspired by Thai food rather than conventional Thai food'. As a regular visitor to Thailand, you'll know that Thai food lives or dies on the quality of the sauces...More
Four of us called in on a Sat evening, menu had a good choice, meals came out in good time and all of us enjoyed the food.
Thank you for your review and for eating with us.
We were in Alnwick for only one night so we are so pleased we chose to eat here. The food was delicious, in particular the beef dish which was clearly made with the best quality meat. The owner was friendly and happily talked us through...More
I'm very pleased you chose to eat at Thai Vibe on your one night in Alnwick. Luckily we have a very good butcher in this town and can easily source good quality meat; after being tenderised, marinated, quickly pan-fried and then grilled, the beef steak...More
First visit this evening to this restaurant and it won't be our last, the food was excellent. Anybody visiting Alnwick should try this place. The food was fresh and extremely tasty, I've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants in the UK and this is...More

5* service and food! Attention to detail was second to none. Me and my boyfriend had the crab won tons and spring rolls to start which were to die for. The crispy salmon and pad Thai king prawns were incredible! Would definitely recommend. Regrettably didn't...More
Well that's a kindly review! Thank you for trying us and please return soon and leave room for some dessert.
We called in unexpectedly and were first in what turned out to be a very quiet evening. When I ordered the seafood salad starter I was warned it was the hottest thing on the menu, did I want it without chilli? I said some spice...More
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent visit to Thai Vibe. I'm a little perplexed by the main negative issue you had: namely that you weren't given adequate warning about the heat level of the green curry. When I...More
This is a Thai restaurant with a difference. We were a party of 4 and as we walked to the restaurant were discussing which of the 'set menus' were were going to chose and whether the restaurant offered a 'banquet' style menu. But Thai Vibe...More
Thank you for your review and for embracing our 'a la carte' menu. I suppose there is pressure on Thai restaurants to conform to the prevailing Chinese fast food style of set menus/banquets/takeaway, but we purposefully chose to offer a more continental dining experience.
