What an amazing cafe serving home made food. The cakes are fabulous. The scones were the best I have ever had! The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. If only it were closer to home!

A great cafe, with very good homemade food. The best cakes I've tasted anywhere in Northumberland. It's always busy and you need to book for lunch. Very pleasant helpful staff. A joy to visit.

First time I have visited this tea room. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the place has a lovely ambience. I had coffee and the almond and orange cake. It was divine. Well worth a visit!

My family and I often visit this lovely cafe. The food is always fresh and tasty and the coffee is excellent. On my last visit I had the carrot cake with an orange frosting, it was the best carrot cake I have ever had. We are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Highly recommend.

Eventually managed to get to visit this restaurant with a friend for lunch. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I had the quiche which was beautiful and my friend had pate which was also beautiful. Then we had cake to finish. We chose almond and orange cake and omg!! It was to die for. Definitely going there again... More

Great lunch, excellent service, delicious homemade food. Had a lovely Parma ham and pine nut bread swirl, followed by the best ever chocolate brownie. If you are any where in the vicinity it's definitely worth a visit, we will be back

We are a family run business based just outside Alnwick, Northumberland on the old A1 roundabout up from the Lion Bridge. We converted the stables at the rear of our house in 2013 to a tearoom.

The tearoom also stocks a lovely selection of local Northumberland produce and gifts.

We serve all our own homemade cakes, bread, and Lunches which include Quiches, soups, Ploughmans, Pate and Sandwiches.

Our coffee provider is Pumphrey's; who has proven to be a real hit with all our customers especially our regulars.
