We have been eating here most evenings because our accommodation is just around the corner from it! The food is amazing, the portion sizes are incredible, my husband has had the cod twice.....I kid you not it’s enormous! The staff are great, nothing is too...More

A nice cafe which is part of the bakery shop, everything freshly made, friendly staff and sensible prices. The sandwiches are made to order and are sufficient for a full meal. Lovely home baked bread and cakes.

Don't expect a great atmosphere at this pub. It looks old on the outside but lacks any character inside. What it lacks in character it makes up for in food. Great produce, cooked well and served with a smile. We will be back there.

Thanks for the review Rick and it looks like we may have messed up this time. However, we would like to point out that we are in the holiday season, which for us starts early April, but that doesn't excuse the slow service. We wish...More

Although up in Bamburgh regularly I'd never been here before, so it was a very pleasant surprise to find a nice pub selling really tasty sandwiches for lunch, using local bakery. The sandwiches were good size, well filled and really fresh local bread.....which together with...More
