Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food and a great welcome. Nothing too much trouble. The shop is also great with lots of lovely local produce. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

We were up in Northumberland on a weeks break from Yorkshire in the new year. This farm shop was recommended to us by our cottage host and it didn’t disappoint! Beautiful setting, good quality food at reasonable prices and friendly service. We all had one...of the farmhouse breakfasts which were delicious. The staff were very nice and friendly and provided great service. Would definitely go back.More

Myself and my family have just been to sunnyhills for a get together lunch. The food was fantastic and you couldn't fault the service from the staff. Evie, Livvy and Bob made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. Livvy...even took time to reassure my niece on her starting high school this year, thank you Livvy 😊More

Exceptional festive meal at Sunnyhills today, Outstanding value for money. The turkey was served in generous slices and accompanied by a pig in blanket that was a meal in itself. The side dish of vegetables included spouts, carrot mash and cabbage whilst the main dish...had parsnip, roast potatoes and mash. The service was also tremendous with a knowledgable and friendly waitress . It was great to see this team in action and this venue was being well patronised by very happy customers.More

Staying in Lavender Cottage in Bradford, Belford and decided to call in for late lunch yesterday. I had brie & camembert focaccia which was beautiful and tasty and full of the filling. Tasty salad and delicious Piper crisps on the side. Other half ordered burger...and fries, lovely juicy tasty burger loads of fries and side salad with relish. Both meals went down a treat, lovely little place with great friendly service. Farm shop full of lovely goodies, gift shop also very tempting too. We will most definitely eat here again and buy lovely produce from the shop. 🤗More

Excellent food that was freshly prepared using very tasty ingredients. The roast lamb was succulent with a full set of supporting vegetables. The service was second to none with no pressure to move on once we were finished. The dining area was well laid out...with discreet Christmas decorations. Overall an experience I would recommend to anyone looking for a great Sunday lunch.More

Called in here whilst staying at nearby Lucker, the guy serving was supper friendly and we had coffee and fresh cheese scones that were still warm from their morning bake.

A great spot for breakfast, coffee or lunch as well as shopping. Warm friendly welcome and lots of seating both inside and outside. Massive scones that did not disappoint. It's a shame they were not open in the evening for dinner, but I think they...do in the summer. If you are part of the BritStop scheme, you are welcome to park and stay in your motorhome/campervan overnight in the carpark - you just need to call ahead. A very quiet spot on the edge of Belford.More

This place is usually a fantastic restaurant, unfortunately my experience was sadly disappointing because the food was not to usual high quality, it was over cooked and dry, the customers service was terrible.
