We stayed in the same room, St Michaels. Superb bath ... a bit of noise from the bar as the downstairs door had been left open. Good quality meat and homemade local jams. May be back next year.

What a wonderrful atmospheric hotel near to Alnwick Castle. The staff were fantastic as was the room and breakfast. Easy parking on site was an added bonus. Could highly recommend this gem to anyone who wants to explore the North East. We will definitely return.

We had dinner at the Northumberland Arms after it was recommended by our hotel and the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere, good selection of ales, all in all, it was a lovely evening.
