I was in the area visiting a wedding venue with my brother and his fiancée, we were short on time and had an hour's drive home so my husband and I tried here for lunch, it was about 2.00 o'clock. The service was friendly and the young lad that waited on our table was polite and friendly. We ordered traditional... More

Whilst driving to Scotland we fell upon this establishment one lunchtime. We received a very warm welcome, ordered a drink and lunch. My wife, who is coeliac and was advised by the waitress ordered salmon and I had roast lamb with all the trimmings. The salmon portion was very generous, served with a selection of vegetables and, according to my... More

The home made pie is fantastic. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are good value and comfortable. You can't beat a lovely wood burning stove for ambience.
