Had an evening meal whilst staying at Border forest lodges. We were made very welcome and able take the dog into the bar area. Lovely meal and good choice with some great specials. Thank you

Had quite a few meals here in the last week. Very welcoming and allowed our dog in too. Truly amazing PROPER chips made fresh and with real potatoes which is rare these days and locals were very friendly too

Lovely juicy homemade Burger in a proper bun with great chips & a very tasty Fish Pie, washed down with some great local ale. We really enjoyed our meal.

Four of us ate here on 2 occasions while staying at Border Forest Lodges.The menu is varied and between us tried a few of the dishes. The food was hot and freshly cooked and the staff were very welcoming.

Beautiful home made food xx well worth a visit xx we ordered burger and salmon couldn't fault xx for pudding we ordered the almondy tart xx beautiful views and dog friendly in the bar xx staff attentive and food didn't take long to come xx

Great pub locally known as the "first and last", always good food here and the owners and staff are great. Plenary of parking and outdoor seating, but the main road can be busy at weekends. Sunday lunch is spot on.
