Booked for 2 nights recently, attracted by the very good rate for room and breakfast. Arrived to find it’s location was about half a mile from the town centre, uphill too. On entering the reception area we were met by a rather forlorn looking receptionist....More

Had a lovely meal yesterday with parents, partner and Yorkshire terrier in the bar beside the open fire. Once again the food and staff were first class. Will be back very soon!

lovely food and atmosphere, very friendly staff, the sea bass was delicious. if I had any criticism it would be that the music was not in-keeping with the hotel and needed to be more background than disco.

A lovely meal but a little over priced. It was well cooked and served by a very lovely lady. It looks like it could be a nice place to stay.

Good breakfasts and excellent suppers, stayed at Tankerville for 3 nights. We were very pleased with the quality and value of the meals on offer, the usual pub favourites plus daily blackboard specials
