Hi, we're sorry that you feel disappointed with our customer service, I presume that this was on Saturday, as we did have a lot of people arriving around closing time. I have spoken to our staff about it and it is a very difficult one...More

Popped into this place for a quick bite. Had a latte & pasty - which was delicious, & two cheese scones to take out.
Thanks for your review, we're very pleased that you enjoyed the coffee and pasty!
Quirky place reminds me of a old American diner with a modern twist with great shakes and ice cream. Service was friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend a fun place to visit and they also serve a great breakfast.
Thank you, so pleased to read that everything was to your liking!!
We tried several different flavours of milkshake and had breakfast one morning too. The milkshakes are fantastic, sitting down to breakfast was lovely due to the great food and nice American diner type seating. But more than anything the service is so friendly. We loved...it.More

Wonderful Ice cream. Staying locally and had read the reviews, so wanted to try it for ourselves. Really creamy, flavoursome homemade Ice cream. We sat inside to eat. Well worth a visit. Good value too
This review and rating is about the Ice Cream stop we did rather than the breakfast stop which was... well less than good but lets move on from that, An Ice cream bar.. got to visit! Sun was shining but didnt trust the clouds so...went to sit inside. Mums wheelchair just fitted in the door and we found a good place to park it indide, Now,,, which sundae to choose? I finally decided on the chocolate brownie one. (mum had a hot scone) it was massive! Very tasty and very good value for money! Oh they do breakfast we gottatry on our way home (we did but wish we hadnt - it was nasty)More
Thanks for your review, we're pleased that you were happy with the ice creams and scones. We're sorry to read you were not pleased with your breakfast, generally we receive good reviews for them, did you raise it at the time?

When did I go? Been visiting this place for 65 years. It's always been a good experience and the Doddington farm makes excellent ice cream. We live in Wooler and a trip to the re-cycling centre is an excuse to stop at the Milk Bar...in for a huge bacon sandwich afterwards! Also, a long hike into the hills always seems to end at the Milk Bar for a cooling ice cream.More
We have been here a few times now and every time it does not fall short of excellent. The coffee is good, the service is second to none and the food , in particular the scones are the best I have ever tasted. I wish...I was more local , I would be there most days.More
We called in twice to the milk bar with our friends for coffee and a snack and sat outside in the take away area as we had our dog with us. On both visits the staff were great and we all enjoyed out drinks and...food. It’s a shame you can’t take your dog in as if the weather had been bad we would not have visited. However we hope to visit Wooler in a few months and I’m sure a visit to the milk bar is on the cards.More
What a place ! Hard to describe but it’s definitely a funky setting. Staring with hot sausage sandwiches we simply couldn’t fault them. To follow I had three scoops of their homemade ice cream. Caramel , chocolate and lemon meringue and my friend opted for...a fresh strawberry milk shake which was bursting with flavour. Can’t Waite to go back. Sit in or take- away.More
