No one else there eating - the town closes down on Thursday, we're told. Good service and two very pleasant ladies on duty. Light lunch was good. Some nice nick nacks for sale as well. Typical English coffee shop/café. Recommended on Thursdays anyway.

Food was good, although my wife ordered a cheese and tomato toastie and got cheese and ham. Busy, and, perhaps as a consequence, staff didn’t seem that pleased to see us. Table sticky. Otherwise ok.

It was a pleasant little village shop. Many locals seemed to pop in. There were...More

Just walking by and decided to walk in for some lunch. What a nice surprise. Great food, coffee and staff are lovely, very attentive. We even had a cake takeaway as we could not eat anything else.

Yes - each time we have been in we have been greeted with rude staff. It’s even worse if you dare to enter in the late afternoon when they hoping to close early. We only had a return visit as there was nowhere else open in... More
