A great traditional pub with a very good menu, food freshly prepared and cooked. It is in a lovely setting. It gets very busy on sunny warm days. The service is very good with friendly staff.

Emphasis in this place is cheap! Poor greasy food and a lot microwave preheated before serving. Mushy peas you could stone somebody with!

Lovely Christmas Fayre the best I’ve had locally. Generous amounts of vegetables. Brussels and carrots cooked to perfection not over cooked. Absolutely 1000% would recommend.
