We took a large group of 20 for the week night banquet. Good selection of starters and choose you own main. Food came out at the same time and was all nice and hot. Our veggies were well catered for too.

Visited here with family one Saturday. The decor of the restaurant is very tired and dated. We sat in the window which meant we were by the door, which wasn’t the best spot.
We all went for the banquet meal. The orders were taken very properly. The starter platter was really nice. Delicious ribs, prawn toast, seaweed, chicken and spring rolls. The quantity of seaweed wasn’t enough for six people.
The duck course came next which I didn’t eat but again the servings weren’t matched up for six people, the salad was tiny as was the plum sauce, not enough to feed our group and that was with one of us not having the course after all.
The mains were all quite tasty and plenty of rice. We liked the lazy Susan for the table which was handy.
The service was a little poor, nobody collected used glasses so we had to pile these up in the windowsill, when staff brought fresh drinks they ignored the unclear empty ones we had to ask for these to be cleared eventually. One of the draft beers went off after two drinks, this came back on shortly but the staff never mentioned this to us, they did apologise. Ordered a Chinese beer and brought the wrong one, staff member apologised again. Diet Coke was served in a can which was warm. Soft drinks quite small in size.
Had an irritating loud party seated next to us which wasn’t the restaurant’s fault, but it was a bit of a nuisance spoiling the atmosphere.
The food was nice here but based on the service and atmosphere I wouldn’t return.

Had another excellent meal again food was hot only one thing music in background bit depressing and Xmas song apart from that very good as usual good service wel be back.

We ordered a vegetarian set menu and a set menu B as a takeaway. All of the dishes were tasteless and mushy, and we ended up throwing it away. After having to wait for over an hour for the food to arrive, we were very disappointed with the quality. We will not be ordering from there again.

We ordered a takeaway. Told me it would be about 45mins. 15mins later it turned up
It was so nice . Had duck to start with then the crispy chill chicken.

Amazing food, amazing service! I don't eat meat but my partner does and the variety for both of us is amazing! I called the restaurant ahead to query some allergen information and the lady I spoke to was so nice and gave me all the information I needed. The food arrived so quickly and the taste is unmatched! I haven't had vegan duck and this was the best! Not a scrap was left ❤️ 10/10!!!! 5* will defintiely be ordering again!

Went last night My friend had chicken fried rice which had no taste the chicken did not taste like chicken . The texture and taste was like processed meat and it didn't even look like chicken. My Chicken foo yung was bland and tasteless also the food was luke warm. Years ago the food was nice but after last night we won't be going back.

We had the banquet meal which consisted of a mixed platter starter which was huge followed by crispy duck then a main dish of your own choice with stir fried rice. You can also have a desert or hot drink. All for a very reasonable price.
This would be great if the food lived up to the same but the duck was so dry and over cooked and all the sauces on the various dishes were glupey. Service was very good but it wasn’t at all busy for a Friday evening. I wouldn’t rush back.

Staying locally for a weekend break. Came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. What a little gem. Such an unassuming little place, but food and value were 2nd to non. Service was great. Try the banquet, such terrific value. Just wish I could move this place nearer to my home town.

I recently went to the Ocean Pearl for a meal with a group of friends. We all had the banquet meal which has a number of courses. As the only non-meat eater in the group in some places that means I have to have a completely different meal but not in this case. I was able to have a banquet with my friends but with foods I could eat. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was prompt and hot and fresh. I have no doubt that as soon as we are all free we’ll be back.

Got a home delivery ended up paying £20 for chips and egg fryed rice got half of my order rong items missing and had to send the other half back as it was disgusting think it might of been cooked the month before
