Usually I order through JustEat and the food has always been outstanding. Decided to order directly on a weekday and me and my wife and daughter all left our meals. The chicken pieces in all three dinners were rockhard all of the three dishes over...seasoned with too much salt! It’s such a shame because usually they are very good. I find the food at this takeaway good and the home delivery is good I just get annoyed that the free poppadum's are a bit hit and miss either they are included or they are not. I get quite disappointed when they are not in...the bag.More

We ordered a takeaway from Mahee Tandoori for the first time last night as our usual takeaway was closed. We checked reviews on here for several Indian takeaways in Abingdon and Mahee Tandoori seemed like a good bet. It was the worst Indian takeaway we...have ever had. So disappointed. The “pickle tray” was tiny and deftnitely not enough for 2 people, or for the number of poppadums we had, also there was no lime pickle. The sag aloo was just mush and both our main courses were tasteless and not enjoyable. Can’t understand how this takeaway comes out top on trip advisor, our experience was awfulMore

Staying away painting in abingdon, was reading all reviews on here (as a fussy eater) So tryd this great local Indian restaurant. I chatted to a nice gentleman regarding Indian food also dishes etc. Ordered chicken vindaloo with a few green chilli garnish. I rate...the takeaway and service highly. The chicken was also great and a good size portion. Was well worth the visit. 9/10 Keep up the good work guys👏More

Really enjoyed the dishes (Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, Garlic Lamb) . Ordering was easy and communication excellent. Food was piping hot. Really enjoyed it- perhaps just missing the ‘wow’ flavours for us but it was very nice.

Best Indian around. I just wish it was a restaurant too. would love the opportunity to sit in and eat. Thank you for excellent food every time!

Asked for a chicken byriarni without onion which they did in the rice dish but the sauce had lots not good when you cannot eat onions

They are Good. If you order mushroom fried rice you get rice with mushrooms. And that is it. Rice + mushrooms. I have ordered mushroom fried rice from other takeaways, and it is full of ‘bits’ of other stuff. I did not order ‘random leftover...veg from yesterday’ with mushrooms and rice.’ . . . . This is not a resultant, it is a takeaway, so do not expect a table. It just about has room for you to collect your (very good) food.More

We have been getting takeaways from Mahee for about 2 years now and find that the standard of the food has been consistently excellent with very little variation in portion size or quality. The staff are friendly and now know me by my name and...the service for collection at least is incredibly fast with our food being ready in 20 minutes usually. We have moved now to a neighbouring town and still make an effort to travel in to Abingdon for our takeaways from Mahee.More
