A lovely pub situated on the River Thames with an excellent selection of beers and ales from mostly local breweries. The outdoor seating area was a little crammed but due to the unseasonally warm weather there were seating areas yet to open. Throughly recommend popping in to visit in the warmer months to take advantage of the fantastic riverside location.

Was a lovely day so we sat outside in the sun by the river. We both ordered Tuna steak hot rocks with potatoes rather than fries and a couple of sauces to go with it: Garlic & Herb and Sweet Chilli. Due to a mixup, we were given chips instead of potatoes with one of the hot rock dishes but... More

Only outside catering available & extremely busy, food was nice but pricey. Great setting & eaten indoors before, be interesting to see what the beer garden food is like which starts next weekend.

I visited this pub on a Friday afternoon with my boyfriend and his parents, I ordered a lemonade at the bar to be told I needed to show ID by the bar lady. I am 19 years old (I do not look young it is clear I am over 18) but did not have it with me at the time... More

Lovely setting - great building, interior, surrounding. Plenty of space. Service very 2/3 star. Yet the price for anything is more 4/5 star!!! (Take that as you wish) drink choice is average I guess food was plentiful, hot and everyone enjoyed. (Mine was taken incorrect, plus had potatoes instead of sautéed, :() (food put down in front of you -... More

Very busy so tried the outside restaurant where we were told by some bald waiter that it was not open until 6? Asked him if he thought there was room inside and he said "i am out here". Tried inside but no room so went back and asked if we could sit in his area whilst awaiting 6 o'clock and... More

Worst customer service experience ever. Got asked for are ID over 5 times (obviously staff does not communicate with each other) didn't once come over to see if our food was okay (way to over priced) Everyone that worked there was moody and grumpy. Really need to learn how to communicate with each other and some more training on customer... More

We visited the Nags Head on a beautiful day and really enjoyed it. Sit on the back patio and enjoy some wine or beers while looking out over the Thames and the park across the river. Boats going by, dogs everywhere - loved it! Live music was incredible and the food looked great too.
