We had a marvelous Sunday Roast, We had the mixed meat, which was lamb and beef, and it was incredibly tender, and plenty of it. The vegetables were plentiful, including cauliflower cheese, parsnip and carrots, The roast potatoes were crispy, and not forgetting the yorkshire pudding. All this was absolutely lovely, but, even if I do say so myself, I... More

Booked for Sunday lunch, the food we had was of a very good standard and they do not hold back with the portions, a very homely pub with nice staff, nothing is rushed including the service but if like us you enjoy conversation with family it was ideal although other people might disagree, very reasonably priced and would have no... Great location and ambience in this friendly pub close to the Phoenix Trail. The beer was average but the food was good and reasonably priced, with the chilli being particularly good.

Just had a fabulous Thai Green Curry. Freshly made with subtle, spicy flavours just the way I like it. Simply delicious and definitely worth a try.

Just had the most amazing Sunday lunch here with some friends. The food is amazing, very generous portions. The staff were very attentive and friendly! The regulars were great and one had a conversation with our little girl about her dolls who she had taken with her. What a great place!!

This is the place to go for good honest pub food. It's reasonably priced and perfectly palatable with acceptable service. Great Chips! Make sure you get down to the Three Horse Shoes on Boxing Day for their mama's play! Always a good laugh... assuming they still put it on every year.

The portions here are generous and the food was tasty with the exception of the Thai Green Chicken Curry. This was curdled and watery and apart from a sweetness (coconut I guess) had very little flavour and was certainly in no way whatsoever lime a Thai Green Curry should be. If this had been served to me I would have... More
