Called here yesterday as part of a Hen Party and had a lovely time, though our stay was short. Although only one person behind the bar, she was friendly, quick and efficient. Great beer. Locals had a brill sense of humour too!! Loved it.

The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, the beer was pretty good (three local-ish beers on tap), but the food was really quite bad - overcooked burgers in fridge-cold buns with raw onion and a side serving of limp, slimy chips.
