Enjoyed a very nice dinner at Latimer's of Shifnal. Well-cooked and nicely presented food plus excellent service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous, great quality food and lots of it. We had starters and mains, but unfortunately, we couldn't fit in a dessert. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked fabulous. Staff were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be returning soon.

The Sunday lunch here is delicious. High quality, great tastes, vey generous portions with side plates of roasts, parsnips, 5 star cauliflour cheese etc. Great service and lovely wine. From the moment we stepped in to Latimer's we were welcomed like one of the family. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. I would most definitely recommend this lovely gem of a place.

We were visiting the area and didn't want to eat at our hotel. I researched the restaurants in the area and we chose Lattimers based on positive reviews. They did not disappoint. My wife and I visited Latimers for the first time on my birthday in September 2023 having booked a table in advance. Latimers is a wine bar / restaurant the centre of Shifnal not far from the railway station. It does not have its own...car park but it does have some road side parking in front of the building . There is further free public car parking in a couple of car parks within a few minutes walking distance. Latimers is a single large room establishment with a bar area to the rear of the room . The menus come as 2 seperate lists based upon the price the customer wants to pay . The drinks are also listed on a drinks menu with good reductions if you purchase some items , like cocktails if you purchase two at the same time. We had 2 lovely cocktails , the Latimers House Special ( Disaronno and Peach Snapps) and a Strawberry Daiquiri. We both had lovely steaks and cleared our plates of the fresh vegetables , mushroom , battered onion rings , tomatoes .and potatoes that accompanied the main course. The dessert course was also really nice and I can certainly recommend the Raspberry and Apple Crumble with custard . It had crunchy crumble topping and buried beneath was a sumptuous filling of raspberries and Apple. We can highly recommend Latimers for its food and drink . The staff were very nice and supportive of my disabled wife.More

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our first visit for nearly a year. Once again, another excellent meal with everything being perfect. Delighted to see that the garlic mushrooms were as divine as ever, the best we have ever had anywhere. As usual, two courses were plenty,...but I still could not resist having the raspberry and apple crumble, which is always delicious.
