The Treacle Well has now closed. Shame, as it was a great tea room on the high street. Property now obtained by a new venture and will soon reopen under a different name.

Popped in as was passing and saw the lovely cakes in the window. What a treat. The young lady was very polite and made the cakes herself. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Bridgwater.

I bought a last minute cake here and it turned out to be one of the best Christmas cakes we have had. I will be back next year.
