We booked an upon arrival were warned that the kitchen was short staffed. This mean a long wait for food but what arrived was fantastic and ample portions. Other comments have mentioned the conservatory feels abit out on a limb from the rest of the...More

Thank you so much for your mostly positive review. Your points are extremely valid as we are very aware of the challenges of the extra large menu and the "out on a limb" conservatory. We do try to cut the choices down, but it is...More

The atmosphere in this pub was good, although in retrospect I would have sat in the (small) bar rather than the slightly impersonal conservatory. We weren't forgotten, as such, but felt a little out on a limb. Food was tasty, and reasonably priced (at least,...More

Although a little difficult to find the kerb appeal of this pub was worth the search. The grounds were well tended with a variety or outdoor seating. Inside was comfortable and welcoming. The menu was varied from hot meals to filled baguettes. All the food...More

Many thanks for your very positive comments on our little pub. We all work hard to keep the welcome warm and the ales cold! I shall take the curtains down tonight! Thanks again

Walked here from the nearby campsite. Great walk through the woods for most of the way, keeping out of the hot sun. Lots of shade at the pub with great beer and brilliant baguette selection! Will go here again next time we visit Longleat.More
