Saw this place on Tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed one bit. We got there at 8.45 not realising that it didn't open until 9am. This wasn't a problem one bit as we were greeted with a lovely smile and asked if we wouldn't mind waiting until...More

I have regularly visited monks yard (when it was across the road and it was a firm favourite of mine being local.) I was intrigued to see what was different since their move and whether they had held onto that monks yard charm. Unfortunately, I...More

Good and friendly service. Could do with some acoustic panels to deaden noise somewhat as very noisy indeed. Five of us each ate something different for lunch and all was very good except the sausage sandwich which was very dry.

Stopped for a coffee and short rest, on the way back to London from Devon. It was the best coffee we had all week (proper artisan barista-crafted).

Lovely clean friendly place. Great food. Fabulous coffee. Nice outdoor seating area. Could have easily ended up in typical services a stones throw away.

My parents live nearby and whenever I'm visiting I will always make an effort to stop by, even if it is just for a takeaway coffee! The staff are wonderful and attentive, and the food (particularly breakfasts) are to die for. Couldn't recommend enough!

As per the answer from Kidney123. Yes tea is available but do check their closing times. If the weather is fine you can sit outside. If you have little ones they would need watching as the space is very open. Have fun P
