Visited as a group of 5 on an evening and turned up without booking. More than welcomed by the staff. Lovely atmosphere within the pub, lots of locals drinking. With a vegan in the party, it can sometimes be a challenge to obtain decent food...More

Got the builders in so decided to treat ourselves to lunch out. My beer-battered cod was most excellent and my other half thoroughly enjoyed his venison burger. The bar is split into several different nooks which may not suit everyone, but we thought it was...More

Went to try to book a table for Saturday evening unfortunately fully booked. Took lady behind bar quite along time to interrupt her conversation to even talk to me. So had quick pint and left. Poor service skills !

Sorry don't know if the Star does Vegan/Vegetarian but there was a lot of choice on the menu. You can always phone them - they are available on 01984 631367. It's a very good Coastal pub.

The Star Inn is located in central Watchet. We always have something special on offer: when it’s cold outside, keep warm by the log fire while in summer you and the kids can enjoy our outdoor secret garden area. You’ll savour our selection of real ales, lagers, fine wines and non-alcoholic drinks as well as our teas and Italian Espressos – the perfect way to spend time with friends. We have a wide selection of snacks and freshly made classic pub food. At lunchtimes, we offer menus that include both traditional home-cooked meals and light snacks. We’re rightly famed for our real ales and always have a good selection. In fact we take real ale so seriously we have been awarded CAMRA Somerset Pub of the Year! We look forward to welcoming you, whether you’re having a snack at lunchtime or coming in for a drink with friends.
