Visited Watchet on Sunday, the same day as their Street market - which was just wonderful - needed some lunch and popped into Chives. If you have a Gluten Free diet, well the choice is endless, which delighted my wife no end. A simple lunch for two with a drink cost no more than £20, a bargain. Lovely decor, nice... More

Having walked over to Watchet from Donisford, we were looking for somewhere dog-friendly for a lunchtime snack and went to Chives on a recommendation from another dog walker we met on the way. It didn't disappoint with a really friendly welcome and a bowl of water for the dog. We had the brie melts with the accompanying salad and they... More

We stopped here for lunch after only having drinks in here previously. We ordered quiche which was served with garlic bread and salad. The quiche would have been nice had it not been microwaved(we did not request it hot), the garlic bread was flabby and the salad-which looked lovely-was entirely inedible due to being smothered in a very sweet dressing.... We went for lunch in Chives Deli. I had a jacket potato with chicken and a side salad with a lovely chutney on it. My husband decided to have a ploughman's with pork pie. It arrived with a whole pork pie and lots of different salads. We stayed for a while and had delicious home-made cake afterwards with our tea.... More

Chives is a grand little place, selling a range of locally sourced deli items to go, as well as having a decent number of tables for a breakfast or lunch-time visit. Well recommended.

We got of the steam train here about lunch time and after walking up and down for awhile, we came across the Chives Deli. What a find! We had the most delicious cheese and tomato sandwiches and coffee. In fact there was a bit too much for us as we have never been into a café where they serve 3... More
