The food is very nice. Friendly and fast service in a great location. On several occasions, we have gone walking with the family and ended up at this charming restaurant. I would also suggest trying their lemon meringue pie it is to die for.More

Wow! What a fantastic night we had. As you walked into the conservatory it was like being in a winter wonderland! Absolutely gorgeous! There was a gentleman playing Christmas tunes on a guitar all night! He never stopped for a break! The food was excellent!...More

Stopped while cycling through, just wanted something simple and quick. The setting is lovely, restaurant quite chintzy. I paid £4:60 for beans on toast without a brew. Small portion of beans! Other meals on the menu looked expensive. Must be catering for a more 'twee' market!...More

I came here with my family for lunch, we ordered our food (soup, the oatcake pizza and the children's spaghetti bolognaise)- all fairly simple meals, however after we ordered, our food took over an hour to arrive. The food itself was fairly average. We contemplated...More

I just feel that it would be far to dangerous to walk from the park to anywhere in Alton. I also can't think of a suitabe eating place for your party. Out of interest how did you get to the park on what form of transport.
