Only had scrambled eggs on toast and a coffee. £5 in total for Soggy toast and hard microwaved egg (as I watched her make it through the hatch in between washing dirty dishes) Coffee was nice though. Place could do with a revamp and a deep clean looking like it's set in the 80's Won't be going back in a... More

Having given this great review before as the food and service were excellent, it was a no brainier when my mum and I wanted lunch today. On entering what tables were free still had the previous diners mess on them. A friendly member of staff said hello cleared a table but didn't bother to wipe away bits of food. Had... More

Popped in for a bite to eat, we didn't check the menu just ordered what we wanted. We had 4 slices of cheese on toast, 2 single pieces of bacon, 2 cans of pop and a milkshake. The quality was ok at best, but the service was good so we decided to just pay and avoid it in the future.... More

Only popped in for toast and coffee. Pre-buttered soggy toast at 70p a slice(60p for a crust). My wife had Crumpets at £1.75(which I thought was very expensive for something that would only cost about 30p if you bought them yourself). Coffee was nice.

We called here whilst on a shopping trip and had steak and ale pudding with chips which sounded nice. We waited over half an hour for it to come, the puddings were so over cooked that we had a job to cut through them, frozen chips which were a bit hard. Sorry I hate giving bad reviews but very poor... More

Nipped in as wanted to sit somewhere without collage kids taking over. Was quite empty had a home made scone and pot of tea. Order taken by a very grumpy rude waitress scone wasn't that nice served with cheap looking and tasting jam and tinned squirty cream. Just not nice tea in a very old tiny teapot and stained tea... The place itself looks clean and inviting and the menu reads well too. The problem is that on paper the jumbo breakfast looks good value? Sadly however at £6.80 it comes very poorly cooked, greasily presented and using poor quality thin sausages and fatty bacon. Baked beans were stone cold. Sadly it's greasy spoon cooking and presenting skills based on... More
