What a gorgeous little find. Went here with my mum for her birthday where the steak and stout pie was so amazing I brought my husband back two weeks later. The pie is an absolute must in this restaurant. Can't rate it high enough. Gorgeously decorated inside, very quaint little place, love all different furniture and chairs, adds to the... More

Havn't been in since the refurb, it's fantastic ticked all the boxes, food excellent, melt in the mouth lamb shank, service, staff & décor first class, we feel we have found somewhere we really like close to home, we have already planned our next visit with friends, great place.

There were 4 and 2 young children. Service and attention is very good. Food is a high standard and very enjoyable. Reasonable selection of beers and not the ones that you find in many of the local pubs. Rib eye steak was excellent and cooked perfectly to our request. The pie is amazing and lamb shank melts in the mouth.... More

Great range of ales, good service, nice surroundings, and good food. Personally I found the menu a little "fussy", but there is plenty of choice. Nothing bad to say about it, although it would be nice if you could reserve a table, and parking was difficult (it was Saturday night though).

My family and I wanted to go somewhere for a nice Sunday lunch. Had heard good things about this place but on arrival we were more than disappointed. We were informed that they didn't have any highchairs. A big issues when you have a one year old. This we could cope with, perhaps we should have checked before travelling to... More

Busy at lunchtime, had steak and ale pie, a little expensive but I have to say the best I've ever had.

First visit to this pub. Probably one of the best pub meals I have had for a long time. Added bonus of a little live music added to an already nice ambience. Nice service and good choice of beers. I look forward to our next visit.

As the storm blew we decided a warm hearty meal in welcoming surroundings was needed. A starter of warm pork pie with a nice spicy dip was great. The tomato soup of the day was amazing and a touch of chilly heat added another level. The substantial pie of steak and stout with homemade chips and sweet tasty peas finished... More

My wfe and I meet friends at the Fitz on a regular basis. This pub has been completely revamped about a year ago, shabby chic seems to sum up the decor. To summarise; friendly staff, great cask and craft ales and the food is excellent, you wont leave hungry. Enjoy.

We would like to welcome you to the Fitzherbert Arms of Swynnerton. The restoration of the Fitzherbert Arms, our lovely village pub, was a joint venture between Lord Francis Stafford and pub entrepreneurs Mary Mclaughlin and Tim Bird who own a number of award-winning pubs and bars in Cheshire, Staffordshire (us!) and Dorset. We offer home cooked, flavoursome and wholesome food cooked freshly by our kitchen team, a great array of local Staffordshire and Cheshire cask ales across five pumps which are always selected from breweries within a 35 mile radius of our pub. Try our Swynnerton Stout brewed at Titanic Brewery here in Staffordshire or our Fitzherbert Best Bitter brewed just over the 'border' in Cheshire by Weetwood. We also have a real cider pump to enjoy. We offer over 30 different Ports and a well selected wine list with 16 different wines by the glass that cater for all tastes. All our food and drinks can be found via the 'food and drink' links. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful English pub.
