Tried here for somewhere different. Place empty but it was still early. Very good selection of gins and beers. Had 1 gin and a beer which came to £12.20. Think it's a novel place but prices are too expensive. We walked past at 22.00 and...More

Next time you're out in Eccy make sure you make the effort to walk up the High Street to Merckx. Warm, cosy, friendly, always buzzing with very modern and nicely thought out eclectic style. Go there if you want to try some drinks which are...More

Fabulous bar on the Eccleshall High Street, with a great range of Belgian beers with something for everyone. I particularly enjoy a fruit beer / Kriek which they have several. Also great if you are wanting a snack with your drink.

Have visited on a few occasions now and really like this bar. Has a good vibe and a good choice of Belgium beers. The manager is very knowledgeable of the ales on offer. The beers are a little bit more expensive but we feel it’s...More

Visited for a couple of cheeky ones prior to a meal across the road. Sure it’s small, but perfectly formed. It was midweek so relatively quiet, but still a decent atmosphere. Super choice of Belgian beer, but go easy because some of these beers pack...More

Couldn't fault this place a mix of my 2 favourite things in cycling and fine ales. Small but perfectly formed place a large ale menu with details of flavour and style. The owner certainly knows his stuff and I tried his recommendations and was not...More

I'd heard about this place but never had chance to go until we went on an overnight touring trip....Maria and Ged made us feel most welcome and we had to stop again on our return trip to taste their amazing selection of pies again. The...More
