60th birthday .16 of us .all seated together. Fabulous service.food was piping hot and fresh, everyone in our party said it was lovely and good value for the money. I eat out at a lot of pubs/restaurants and have come across many below standard of meals being served & this place i visited today was 'Below Standard' i just dont get why so many serve terrible food, today i was robbed of £40 disgusting,...apparantly this used to be a good place few years ago but sorry to say AVOID you been warned!More

Welcomed by Babu who was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered food from the Indian Menu. Both dishes were delicious: Rara Gosht and Chicken Bhuna. Definitely value for money. Thank you made our wedding anniversary very special.

Went on Friday with a friend and had the 3 course special and excellent value. Free Parking, nice atmosphere inside, tables aren't positioned too close to each other and a nice atmosphere. Large menu available aswell as the offer menu, so you are spoilt for...choice. Noticed a nice outdoor seating area too ideal if also have young family. Will return.More

Booked a table for 8.15 on 11th August, when we arrived we were shown to our table only to be told its the Indian menu only now! We asked why and the waiter said "because the chef said so, if you were here five minutes...earlier you could of had it" and walked off When the waitress ( who was actually really nice) then came over to take our drinks order we said we wernt sure if we were staying because it was only the Indian menu, she then came back to us two minutes later and said " iv asked the chef he said he will do English for you but you need to get your order done in five minutes" So we decided to stay but did feel somewhat of an nuisance to the chef, we orderd our food and the starters came really quickly followed by the mains which were ok but nothing at all to rave about, but whilst finishing our mains the staff started turning lights off around us making us feel extremely rushed and like we were in the way, we quickly finished our meals and asked for the bill.....not a nice experience at all and also very overpriced! This isnt the first bad experience at the malt house either...earlier on in the year we booked a table for dinner and had an okish meal but then when finishing our meal a lady came inside shouting and swearing because her underage son was outside extremely drunk and in a very bad state....when we walked out he was vomiting outside!.....what a horrible thing to see after a meal, we should have known not to return but thought maybe they had sorted the place out....its such a shame as it really could be a lovely place but needs so much improvement!! Very very dissapointing!!!!More

Great meal and service, maboo was great. Really good atmosphere and will definitely be returning. Myself and my wife chose of the Indian menu and was not disappointed at all, the food was fresh and full of flavour

Had a lovely meal, Chose of Sunday roasts, main menu or Indian menu. Large portions and nice and hot.

We booked a table for two on a Tuesday night and was pleased to see the restaurant was fairly busy. We both had the chicken Biryani and garlic naan bread both of which were very flavorful and good portion sizes. The service was also very...good without being intrusive. We have visited this restaurant a number of times this year and enjoyed both Indian and English food. The only downside is that the male toilet cubicles don't lock as the locks are broken which is a big disappointment for me personally. Overall, fantastic food let down by poor toilets.More

Lovely curry by Indian chef. One of the best garlic and coriander nans ive ever tasted. Highly recommended. Extensive menu.
