I've long liked Camberley Tandoori - see earlier review - but wanted to comment that their deliveries (in these times of heavy restrictions due to coronavirus) continue their excellent food standards, good value and great service. We always try to sample something from the Chef's signature dishes range, and none have ever disappointed. The little extras such as poppadums included gratis are much appreciated.

We have visited Camberley Tandoori regularly in recent months and consider ourselves to be good customers. The service has always been delightful and speedy with a welcome from the owner. The food also consistently good and we will continue to visit on a regular basis. Always a table available even though we had not booked.

This was a last minute booking (booked the same day) which we made on line, the restaurant is located on the high street but there is ample paid parking in and around the area.
The restaurant has taken all reasonable steps to manage social distancing and has proved hand wash gel on all the tables and inside and outside the washrooms, the manager asked to let him know if we had any concerns to let him know.
The food was excellent and they have an extensive menu with all the familiar favourites and several items we had not seen before in other restaurants.
My friend had the Monk Fish Malabar, Monk Fish cooked with Coconut I had the Laal Maans, Lamb with dried red chillies & crushed garlic, which where both quite simply delicious
I would defiantly visit again the food and service where excellent and they have taken all reasonable steps in these challenging times

Booked for 8.30 on arrival weren’t ready were left in waiting area, offered a drink eventually seated. Took Avery long to come and take out order had to call someone over. Took our order the guy seemed like he was half asleep meanwhile another guy came over to say the men’s toilets had flooded. Took ages for the food to come out was a complete shambles had been before was good but this was an embarrassment the service was ridiculously poor plates came out weren’t hot and had to complain couple of times in all honesty won’t be returning!!!!!! Massively gone downhill avoid at all costs.

Camberley tandoori is our favourite Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, and they give the best service, they are so friendly and accommodating. We always follow recommendations from the waiters on dishes to try and thoroughly enjoy all of them! There's always plenty left over! And the delicious cocktails are a bonus!

The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Friday evening (probably due to the eat out Mon - Wed offer) so we had exceptional customer service. the food was lovely, hot and nicely served. People were constantly coming in for take aways throughout the evening so these are obviously very popular. Covid safety was excellent.

Just had a ‘Cheeky Tuesday’ delivery through Just Eat. CT don’t normally open on a Tuesday. There’s normally a fair wait for a delivery from this excellent value restaurant. They were open. There’s a 20% discount. There’s free delivery. It was here in less than 1/2 hour from ordering. There were complimentary popadoms and a bottle of Cobra. The food was fantastic. If you’re local and in to curry, you already know these guys - tough times people; they deserve your custom; use them (if you can) or loose them.

Absolutely fantastic food, can’t speak highly of this place enough. Everything was authentic, warm and delicious, it came right on time and the whole family enjoyed it all. They even provided us with a complimentary Cobra, and reduced 20% off the total bill. Props to the chefs and staff for a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner, wishing the restaurant and all of its staff a good year to come! X

So, the first meeting of the club in 2023 with 16 members in attendance.
The restaurant staff greeted us after confirming our booking 48hrs before we arrived. A table set out for us was immediately available and drinks were on the table very quickly. After placing a large order, we enjoyed poppadoms and pickles before the main meals arrived.
Fantastic service at this point. The organised staff distributed every dish across the expanse of our table without fuss, knowing who had ordered what, and without the usual calling out of dishes to seek out the right patron; well done, that’s about the best we’ve ever seen!
Now, the food…quickly delivered, piping hot, tasty and good value…this is a great venue for a curry evening.
We’ve been here before, and we’ll be back again!

Takeaway- ordered online for 6 on a Saturday night so was pleasantly surprised by 1 hour estimate for delivery, which they achieved. The food arrived hot and with no errors. It was probably one of the best Indians we have ever had, certainly as a takeaway. Generous quantities ( we had 3 rice and 3 naan between 6) with a main dish each and a couple of sides. We will definitely be back, and may well try eating in the restaurant next time.

This is the best Asian Take-away we have had in years!
We have been lucky enough to have tried many Asian restaurants and have toured in India and experienced the real cuisine. This was EXCELLENT. The online booking system was really user friendly. They delivered 5 minutes early!!!
The taste was amazing. They have captured the different regional variations. Wow!! The Nepalese dishes were really great flavours and the regional Indian dishes were great as the chilli heat was perfect. The meats were succulent. This is the second take-away we have had and both have been excellent. Recommended!!!

First time at The Camberley Tandoori for an early dinner with five other family after visiting ‘spoons and before going to the theatre. Only two covers populated in the restaurant at 6pm. Very varied menu. Almost too much choice. Service was attentive and the food arrived in good time and was well presented. We were all very pleased with the quality of our dishes and swapped tastings. I particularly liked the way they cooked ginger as in the Garlic Chilli starter. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will visit again.

Excellent food, friendly customer service and the best COVID mitigation at a restaurant I’ve been to. My favourite touch was how they listed the regions of each dish accompanied by detailed explanations. I went for a Nepalese starter, main and beer - all excellent. Some building works have hidden it away, but it’s certainly NOT one to miss.

Though we were excited to have a meal in a restaurant for such a long time we were naturally anxious. The restaurant thankfully put at us ease with the precautions but it still felt friendly and welcoming. We chose to come here as we always order their takeaways and the meal did not disappoint. Service was attentive and we had a great time. Would visit again very soon. Thank you.

Having been extremely impressed by how delicious the food from this restaurant was when we served it at a recent evening event in Camberley, we decided to order a takeaway from them a few days afterwards. We were not disappointed!
The chef at this restaurant clearly knows how to impart flavour into the food. We loved the Nepalese influences and the fact that each dish has subtle layers of flavour and tasted unique. We have become so fed up with so many indian takeaways these days who just seem to use a generic curry sauce and then add a few bits to differentiate between dishes. This is not the case here. A variety of spices and herbs are used to produce food that brings joy to the palate.
If ordering a takeaway I would suggest you order directly from the restaurant rather then risk being disappointed by other delivery services which can be a little unreliable. Our food arrived promptly and hot, within the time notified, and surpassed our expectations. Portions were also of a very good size.
We have not yet eaten in the restaurant but others who have thoroughly recommend it.
