Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had our work "Private Christmas Party" at the Lamb in December. We ordered in an Indian Takeaway, plus booked Glen for his Karaoke and Disco. It was a fabulous evening and we all (35of us) had a great time! It was the 3rd year...in a row that we chose the Lamb because it is a lovely size for a party, the Landlord is always very nice and couldn't do more to make it a great night for us. Glen also does a great job on the Karaoke and gets lots of people up to sing. I highly recommend The Lamb for a party!More

Came upon this lovely pub by chance as it is tucked away in a street outside the main town centre. The Lamb is well worth a visit as it is a most friendly pub with a very pleasant landlord (Dave). Appears to be mainly a...locals pub with, perhaps, passing trade accessed by a walk through from the main A31. A good selection of ales, spirits, wines together with coffee; I had an excellent cappuccino on my last visit. This pub also serves a selection of savoury snacks and chocolate. There is 'live' sport available on the many tv screens throughout the pub. My partner and I visit The Lamb most evenings and have never been disappointed with the service. With the present Covid pandemic this pub needs your valued support as it would be a shame if this establishment closed.More

Pleasant exterior but dark and uninspiring inside. Only one Shepherd Neame ale on tap (Master Brew) which was disappointing. Could do with a makeover.

Great place to watch the World Cup. Good atmosphere, beer excellent and good ambience. No food (except crisps) which is an over sight IMHO.

We enjoyed an expensish bottle of very ordinary plonk there, and I think that our ageing black lame Labrador Bella was not that happy. Anyway, she stuck to our guns and spent a full two hours there. Apparently, she told me, the mens' lavatories were...quite good. Anyway, it is a sports bar, so I am not totally convinced that we should have been in there to start with....but, if we had not been there (a Saturday at 3.00pm) there would have been no one there at all.More

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon with the brother-in-law and his dog which was welcomed with a treat from the manager. The pub is tucked down a side road (Abbey St) leading to/from the station (if heading from town turn left at the William Cobbett...pub on the bend). The interior is small compared to the Cobbett and it can get noisy from all the large tv screens dotted around if the football's on. Being Shepherd Neame tied the ale offering when we were there consisted of Spitfire/Whitstable Bay/plus another. I'm not a particular fan of their brews but it was fine for a couple before moving on.More

Typical Brit pub. Lost for something to do, I ended up here? What is there to say about your average pub? Lonely old men drinking? That's ok

Stumbled across this beautiful little pub last week whilst waiting for friend. A proper traditional pub. The night I went in they had a guy playing piano/guitar and taking requests. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed all night! The poor landlord was on...his own put was very efficient in making sure no one waited too long to get served. I'll definitely be returning.More

What used to be a great Farnham pub, is now slowly dying a death. The landlord seems rude, lazy and extremely unwelcoming. The menu is uninspiring and it's extremely cold, dark and dingy inside. What a real shame!

About 30 of us went out to the Lamb on Thursday 19th March for our end of term party. The landlord, David, had closed the pub off for us for the evening and provided food, karaoke and a disco. It was an absolutely fabulous evening and...everyone had a great time. We can't wait until we do it again! The food was also very good and service was quick. We would highly recommend the Lamb, for a private party. Alison, FarnhamMore
