Lovely Saturday evening catching up with family. Food was delicious & the pub was so warm and welcoming, candles lite with a lovely Christmas vibe. Taylor was great, to knowledge our dog as well was brilliant as a lot of place aren’t dog friendly or...don’t like to approach because the bull breed. Look forward to further visits.More

Great service , great food , lovely relaxed atmosphere. We set up a tab when we arrived as we were ordering lunch. Jude looked after us and was lovely .

The food was delicious, lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Not over busy for a Friday evening but nice and pleasant. I didn’t catch the waiters name ( red head guy ). Very friendly, professional and attentive. Look forward to our next visit.

Nice food and staff. The sunday riast was good with really nice beef. a wider variety of veg would have raised my rating to 5. There were no parsnips or red cabbage. But other than that, a nice experience.

It was wonderful to find the Albert open before 10 o'clock after our early start that morning. A delicious breakfast in a lovely welcoming pub.

Booked for a group, really helpful on changes to the booking and allocated a lovely area for the group. We enjoyed drinks and food-no long delays for food or at the bar. Great friendly staff , I would definitely recommend it

More than disappointing. I've been going to the Albert for some years and it has always been good. Yesterday, for a Fathers' Day lunch, the experience was pretty grim. The food was awful for all three of us. I had a 'roast' - only beef,...chicken and 'porchetta' on that part of the Sunday menu. I had the porchetta which was dismal: essentially a piece of tasteless belly pork wrapped around ....nothing. In fact none of the meal tasted of anything. The pint of Young's Ordinary beer I began with was clearly off and was replaced without any delay. The meal took over 45 minutes to arrive and we were told any deserts would take a further 30 minutes to come, even a scoop of ice cream. The waiter who served us was very good, cheerful and accomplished. But the whole food and drink experience was fairly dreadful and certainly not worth the money charged. I won't go again. A great shame as it's local to me.More

I went to the Albert with my friends, and it was an excellent experience! The food was so nice and tasty. The staff was so friendly and nice, all smiley and helpful which I especially appreciate since I have allergies. The bar is also student...friendly and close to Kingston town! I’m bringing all of my friends here!More

I've been coming here for years - the quiz is great, the staff are very friendly and it's a great place to meet friends and relax. Downsides are that the food is a bit on the pricey side, and there's no dark ale on tap...(but I do realise that is a very personal gripe). But the welcome is warm and the pub is large and friendly.More

Went for lunch with some friends I ordered the crab salad two friends ordered the avocado on toast with poached eggs and another ordered the soup, we waited quite a while for the food to come out all of the hot food came out first...although the soup wasn’t very hot and the poached eggs were over cooked I then waited a long time for my crab salad to come out when it did eventually arrive all my friends had finished their food and to be quite frank the salad was disappointing there was about two teaspoons of crab a hand full of pea shoots and a few other stuff a load of sauce underneath a load of chopped chills ( more chill than crab) and for the cost of £ 10.50 very over priced for what you got .More
