So many roast lunches at pubs are disappointing, the Wych bucks this trend, the Sunday lunch is excellent. We were there last Sunday with a group of 5 friends and had a few starters to share which were all delicious. We were told there was...More

I enjoy coming here as i like the atmosphere however i have noticed the price of the specials has been creeping up and are not particularly 'special'. A few more interesting vegetarian options would be great.More

Thanks for your review, so pleased to hear that you enjoy the atmosphere here at the Wych. We have been a chef short over the last couple of weeks, therefore the specials have not changed so regularly, and yes I personally am keen for the...More

Thanks so much for your kind review. It's flattering that your friends requested a return visit. Our garden is such a delight and a bit of a hidden gem, not many others like it in the area so we are very proud of it, a...More

The Wych is one of those tucked-away, hard-to-find locals' local, but it isn't snobbish or pretentious, and although the vast majority of customers stroll to it from nearby houses, its welcome isn't restricted to people it recognises. The revelation is the food. I urgently needed...More

Thanks so much for your feedback it really is appreciated by us. We wish we weren't quite so tucked away as it makes it quite hard to get folk in who live further away and not in the immediate neighbourhood, we most certainly welcome all...More

We've always enjoyed this pub for it's "proper pub" feel, however last summer the food was, put simply, crap. This summer the Wych has upped its game with a great bar snack menu and some of the best burgers in Kingston. We're just hoping that...More

Thanks for your review we'll not lose the chicken goujons! I'm a little perplexed by last summer's 'crap' food. There has been very little change, only change is that we've had less BBQ items so far - BBQ went down REALLY well last year. Prices...More

Independently operated traditional pub with wonderful, affordable home cooked food. We keep prices low but standards high. Our ales are Cask Marque accredited and kept superbly well by our Fuller's accredited Master Cellarman. Our garden is one of our best assets. Darts board, sports bar, 92" screen and surround sound for sport and film nights. A log burner for cosy winter nights, the warm welcome all year stays whatever the weather.
