Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have eaten lunch here many times over the years. In fact, I live half an hour away but come shopping in Kingston just so I can eat here! It's one of my favourite places and whilst little attention is placed on the decor, all...of it goes on the delicious food.More

Because of the lockdown I popped in to buy bits and pieces for my perfect Sunday . Bought frozen sfogliatella and salsicce e friarielli and now I’m drifting away in my dream to Napoli - my favourite place on Earth!!! Owners of the place are...super nice and helpful. Thank you for such a yummy food!!!!More

i ordered carbonara from Just Eat with this place, and no ham, no mushroom. Fusili pasta used and tasted horrible, swimming in some kind of cream/chilli sauce! And to top it all, they charged £10.95 + delivery for this!!! outrageous. Someone called from the restaurant...to ask what was wrong with the food, mumbled something and then hung up. Who does that? overpriced for what it actually is, cheap cafe.More

Stopped for lunch. Had maybe the best fried calamari ever. It was lightly battered and wonderfully seasoned with homemade mayonnaise. Followed it up with a couple of salads that were dressed really well with lively ingredients. Very tasty and very reasonably priced. It’s a small...place but the staff are very considerate and kind.More

Best Lasagne I have ever eaten, in or out of Italy. Absolutely phenomenal and unlike nowhere else. Garlic bread also an amazing accompaniment.

Delicious food served with love from very jolly Italian couple who have hearts of gold, charisma and soul. If you're looking for a place to dine with a really relaxed and wholesome vibe then you're in for a treat here. Came here for a late...lunch with my boyfriend during Christmas shopping, the Christmas songs were playing, positivity flowing and smiles everywhere from customers and people just popping in to say hello to the owners. Beautiful!! Feels like a homely place! Highly recommend.More

We went to this lovely family run restaurant yesterday after trying(without success)2 other places where we usually eat on Apple Market. Have been passing next to this place lots of times but for some reasons I thought its going to be expensive. So glad we...went there. Very friendly atmosphere and easy menu. We had 2 pasta bolognese with extra chilli. Hot and tasty! Good value for money and good portions! Very interesting that you can buy Italian food there too. Next time I want to try Black Spaghetti with prawns!More

Me and my partner have been frequenting the little restaurant for a while now and each time we have not been disappointed. If one wants to indulge into something simple but so tasty, black pasta with prawn would be the one. Giuliano also makes the...greatest tiramisu in London as far as I'm aware; The presentation is neat, one almost wouldn't dare to touch it, the cream is soft, biscuit moist just to the right level and everything together, in your mouth evokes pure bliss. Giuliano is definitely one to visit if you try to make up with someone, or if you're planning to leave your other half, do it over a portion of tiramisu - they will be heart broken but too peaceful to key your car afterwards. Additionally, big thumbs up to the servers - lovely ladies, full of life, never fault accommodate :)More

Stopped off here for lunch. Very good pasta cooked well and presented quickly. A great little place in a small lane in the hustle and bustle of the shopping area. We have been three times now and will continue to go back. One of the...best pasta places around. Fabulous!More

We have not visited since the refurb, it looks great. We were babysitting a three year old at the time, there are child sized meals. I recommend the crab ravioli as it is always good. The owner is always jolly but was not singing on...this occasion. This independent small relaxed cafe is a joy to visit and support.More

I have used his brothers place in Putney for many years and only recently discovered this was available for lunch. It is very clean and plenty of choice of Pasta's & Paninis. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The food prices were what you...would expect for a bowl of pasta. A very good sized portion. I will certainly return next time I am in Kingston.More

Really don’t get the one or two bad reviews here, don’t they go out very often? We’re with the majority 5 star opinion here as it’s a great place to have lunch with or without shopping. The owner’s a bit eccentric (Naples), but a lovely...friendly guy and the many pasta dishes are better than you usually get in Italy. He likes to talk, so usually suggests/discusses how you’d like your choice prepared. Food reasonably priced as are good house wine and coffee. What’s not to like?More

Two friends and I meet up every few weeks and we have been going to "Al Forno" (reviewed earlier by me) on Saturday evenings for the past year or so. This time we decided to make a change and go to Giuliano's in the Apple...Market Kingston-upon-Thames for Sunday lunch. We did so this afternoon. The place is tucked away down a narrow passageway leading from the Apple Market. From both the outside and the inside it resembles a snack bar; indeed it describes itself as a delicafé. However, appearances are often deceptive and it is, in fact, a fully-fledged restaurant. There are 6 formica-topped tables and thus it has a maximum capacity of 24 seated customers. The place was packed when we arrived but a table soon became available. There was a friendly, brisk atmosphere but it was not too noisy inside. The owner and staff (family?) are Neapolitan; service was prompt and efficient. Between us,we ordered calamari, parma ham on pitta(?) bread, cannelloni and crab ravioli. The crab ravioli that I had was excellent and had well-filled raviioli with 5 enormous king prawns perched on top. My friends told me that the calamari and cannelloni were both first rate. Everything that we ate was entirely authentic Italian cuisine. Prices were reasonable and much in line with other local Italian restaurants. Not surpringly, the restaurant had a strong sense of a family-run business. It is not open in the evenings, so those wishing to try it for dinner will be disappointed. I would strongly recommend this establishment for authentic Italian cuisine, a friendly atmosphere and good value for money.More
