Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow wow wow what a wonderful afternoon tea. Fantastic selection of sandwiches cakes scones and sausage rolls. Such attentive staff and thoughtful to all our needs - one of us being gluten free and we forgot to mention when booking. No problem for Sally and...her team they quickly did a gluten free version. George kept us in an endless supply of tea and such a polite young man a real asset to the companyMore

So glad we decide to visit Tashas family run tea room today . Such a cosy place run by the lovely Sally and her husband and son . It has a very warm and cozy feel already and they have only been open 3 weeks....Very reasonably priced , we had coffees and paninis but will definitely be going back for the delicious looking cakes 😊 Well worth the visit .More

Disappointing lunch. Long wait for 2 tuna & cheese paninis. They were very flat with not much filling. Menu said served with side salad which was 2 slices of cucumber & half a slice of tomato. Also said served with crisps but were told that...they had run out of crisps! At no point did I see a staff member going out to buy any crisps, so can only assume that everyone ordering lunch went without. Sorry Tasha’s we won’t be back. You will have to do much better if you want to survive with the plentiful & still competition you have in Cheam Village.More

My husband and I went for afternoon tea at the end of October. Nice sandwiches, lovely homemade cakes and scones. Friendly and welcoming staff. It was a great experience of a lovely local family business. We are hoping to go back next month.

I was early to meet a friend and as I don't like supporting big global organisations but prefer to support small local businesses, thought I would treat myself to a coffee here. I've been twice before, for Afternoon Tea, and been very disappointed on both...occasions but thought things might have improved. They haven't. When I asked if I could have just a coffee I was told that I couldn't have a table (although the place was nearly empty). I explained that I would only be ten minutes maximum, and was then shown where I could sit. My order was a double espresso which came very, very soon after I sat down and was lukewarm to the point of being almost being cold and not pleasant to drink. As I was sitting with my back to the counter and coffee machines I couldn't see if the coffee had simply been poured ready-made from a jug, but that's my suspicion. Espresso coffee should be served very, very hot. While I tried to drink the concoction, another group of people came in and were greeted with the same negative attitude. They were then grudgingly told that the table was needed at 2.00pm. It was 12.45 t the time. Seriously, more training in customer greeting is needed. I don't care who you are or what your personal circumstances are, if you are the "face" of a business you need basic customer service skills. I won't be returning.More

We booked the whole of Tasha's Tea Room for our friends baby shower. The minimum amount of people was 25 and we were able to meet this to secure the whole venue. We found the communication excellent, the food very nice and the service extremely...friendly and professional. Suzanne catered for all our food requirements , going above and beyond. We would definitely recommend and felt we got more than our moneys worth. Thank you for having us.More

I decided on booking a Mothers Day Afternoon Tea for my Godmother and myself. Arrived, and the tea room looked lovely, warm and spacious. Served very quickly and was given our pot of tea very quickly. When the tray of sandwiches and cakes came out,...I was rather shocked as to how much was offered for the price they charge. After we were offered a scone which were delicious. But again for the price you are asking and the amount we got, I really was left feeling disappointed.More

My friend and I popped in for brekkie and it was lovely quaint little tearoom. The service was warm and friendly. The walnut cake was light and fluffy. My only slight slight criticism is that one of my poached eggs was overcooked. Overall, though very...positive.More

Probably one of the worse afternoon teas I have ever had . For the price ! I always thought afternoon tea for two , you would get a selection for you both not one of each cake an have to choose which one to have.... Hardly any sandwiches . The tea I could see the bottom of the cup Not good value! Sorry won’t be back not the cheapest either !More

From my first contact with Suzanne to enquire about having an afternoon tea party for my Mum's 90th birthday to the actual event i have been impressed with the quick replies to my emails, good clear information and precise details with regard to parking, etc....We were made very welcome and the afternoon tea was fabulous. Lovely finger sandwiches with nice fillings, followed by nice slices of cake finished with the most delicious fruit scones with generous amounts of jam and clotted cream. Make sure you go with an empty stomach to appreciate the wonderful selection of food. Mum was spoilt by the team and it was a lovely and reasonably priced treat for us all.More

I know they do various gluten free cakes and definitely toasties, but not sure on the cream teas. They are really accommodating, so sure they could arrange if they didn't.
