Quality as expected.....

Apart from needing to be warmed up a bit on receiving it just on time, the meal was as tasty, plentiful and a treat as we’ve experienced before. Opted for the chicken tikka stir fry this time as one of the meals and it was lovely, a nice change. Asked for extra chilli in the tikka masala to add a bit more heat. Sundries very nice and leftovers for another day. Utilising money off from an Eat company made it great value.

Load of choices, lovely food

First time we’ve ordered from here. The menu was varied including intriguing stir fries which we will try another day. Order was received 20 mins before it was due, piping hot, with a loyalty offer card attached. Keema Nan was full of spicy mince which a lot of the time you play hunt the mince! The Baltic chicken tikka was lovely and the tikka chilli masala was nice, not as hot compared with another favourite takeaway we use but nevertheless enjoyable. Rice and chips were also tasty and overall value great

Sundries as good as ever….

and we opted to try a Railway Chicken Tikka and a Rogan Josh, chicken Tikka as our mains. Meal delivered quickly, hot and ready to eat and serve. They also supply you with a savings card to get half price after a number of meals. Quality as expected.

Very disapointed

We had a friends get together and ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, which had been reccomended. The main curries were very good but the chicken tikka was really dry, the nans were like cardboard and totally unedible as were the stuffed paratha and the pakora. Apart from the curries all went in the bin. A real shame as the evening was dampened due to this.

Been a while….but

….worth the wait. Horrible cold winter day, so a curry to warm us up as a treat. We opted for the plain chunky chips as opposed to the very very spicy chips. Good choice, they were lovely. Spicy tikka chicken masala and Railway Chicken sizzling stir fry, really nice. Othe sundries great, all in all a great choice.

Great quality food

Good quality food. Friendly staff. Good menu variety. The chips are lovely big and chunky. The rices and the curry sauce was nice and thick and not watery. Excellent quality takeaway food at a reasonable price too. We will return.

Good standard

I fancied a stir fry so got the chicken tikka one (unfortunately the salad wasn’t delivered). My husband fancied a go too favourite, tikka Madras. Chips were a bit crispy but apart from that the meals and sundries were lovely.

New food

We have been using Chennai Central for over two years and their quality and portions have remained fantastic. We ordered a meal recently and they sent us a portion of their new curry to try, it is a Boostenzl Beans Curry and asked us to test and review it, we did and it was amazing and a totally new taste. We would recommend trying this and of course the place itself.

Great curry

I ordered 4 different currys and each one was lovely. The Nan bread and spicy chips were also delicious. The staff were really friendly and it was delivered on time. I would definitely recommend.

Tried this takeaway on the offchance after getting a menu through the door and thought it looked interesting. Food was fresh and tasty, good size portions and we all enjoyed it a lot. If there was about 10% less chilli in the meals it would be perfect 👌

Good curry and value

Since the closure of our regular takeaway (Curry Centre, Ocean Road), i have tried a few other places but this is the best so far. Good curry and excellent value on the Sunday-Thursday lite deal.I normally collect and always ready on time.Friendly and pleasant staff.

Best take away in south shields

All I can say is wow I have been ordering food from here for years now and never had a fault with food and I'm fussy the taste of spices is out of this world support this takeaway you will not be disappointed 5 star for service food and delivery 🤟😁😁😁

Sorry to say but this place has gone right downhill started great but now just totally bland Curry also bunna prawn on puri no taste whatsoever and my onion baji tasteless won’t be back until they improve
