Exquisite food ! We enjoyed a gorgeous lunch . There was five of us and we all had starters, mains and puddings. I had the special - venison , it was perfectly cooked . Followed by a scrumptious apple crumble and custard. My husband had...the steak which he said was the best he had had in years. A second visit recently (the first to conduct a cheeky bit of research) this time to celebrate our mother’s 84th birthday. From the warmest welcome to the attention to service and a bit of cheeky banter we all had a wonderful evening. A fabulous birthday lunch for my dad's 80th birthday. The welcome was warm and service impeccable. The food delicious with wonderfully fresh ingredients. We will be back!

Second time on visiting brought friends with us this time . They absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back again. The lamb tagine was bursting with Moroccan flavours and so tender followed by the lemon cheesecake nice and tangy.

I came to The Bluebell for my dad’s birthday for an evening meal, and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The food was absolutely delicious, a particular highlight for me being the Swordfish with a char grilled texture mixed with a...tomato stew and new potatoes and a side of spinach and pine nuts. Additionally, I really enjoyed the pancake with cherries topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert! My dad chose the chocolate fondant for afterwards and to my surprise it even came with a single candle in the middle and we sang “Happy Birthday” which I thought was a really lovely touch. As a group of retired ex business colleagues from different parts of the country we meet up in restaurants usually recommended in the Michelin guide, and this was our first visit to Henley in Arden. The Blue Bell turned out to be an excellent choice...as the hospitality was warm and friendly with many personal touches. Excellent ingredients beautifully cooked in a lovely atmospheric restaurant with a very welcoming and convivial host. We had beef koftas and scallops to start followed by the Lebanese chicken and swordfish - would highly recommend it all.

A wonderful experience with great company, great service and delicious food. A menu which was explained by the proprietor - I have problems with meus as I keep changing my mind!! I chose a signature main, Seafood Risotto and doing the 'menu envy watch' for...what everyone else had I was happy with my choice but would happily have other mains in future.
