Family ordered Sunday roast lunches. Ample portions as large size and well cooked. Very good value. Quick, friendly service and everyone enjoyed their meal. Highly recommended.

Hadn't eaten here for years, kept hearing great reviews, Tried it for a birthday meal. The food was really nice and there was plenty of it. Staff were good looked after us very well, served 6 adults and 3 kids better than any big restaurant. Good play area for the kids.

My partner and I visited here last night for the first time after reading all the great reviews and we were certainly not disappointed! First of all, the restaurant is so cosy and has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are lovely but most importantly the food is beautiful and freshly cooked. The portions are absolutely massive - you are definitely... More

We found this place by pure luck whilst searching for somewhere we could take dogs. 4 adults, 2 children (and 2 dogs) You can sit in the bar or they have a separate restaurant area. All meals were piping hot and fresh. Husband had the mixed grill which was plentiful and tasty. Quality meats were used. I had Cajun chicken... More

I went here with my family for my brothers birthday. And we were all amazed at the portion sizes. It would be safe to say that you 100% get your money's worth. It was quick and the staff were friendly. HOWEVER the only down side I would say is the peas are not fresh and are tinned, the vinegars did... More

Once again we visited this friendly pub with family and enjoyed a super meal. The restaurant is small with tightly packed tables and the decor old fashioned, but you can't fault the food, friendly efficient service or good value. We chose five different main courses; spicy chicken pasta, scampi and chips, rack of ribs, omelette and chips and ham and... More

Me and my husband went here for mid week meal and enjoyed it as usual. For the price you won't come out hungry. I would recommend it to a friend.
