We visited late on a Thursday afternoon. It was fairly quiet, but it felt like the atmosphere would be quite relaxed at most times of the week. Staff on entry and throughout our visit were friendly and attentive. We ordered some food and drink. We...had beef lasagne and cajun chicken. Both very fresh and cooked perfectly but underseasoned and some items quite bland. Still good value overall. The overall place seemed clean - the condiments were really surprisingly clean for a restaurant at this price point. Toilets were a bit shabby but no more than similar places.More

Arrived at the Courthouse without a booking, but the staff managed to fit us in. This was a Sunday lunch and most tables were reserved. We ordered the Sunday roast and was very pleased with it. Pub roasts can be hit or miss, this was...certainly a hit, and plenty of it. The gravy was exceptional as was the cauliflower cheese. A great find for us and a big thank you to all the staff members for looking after us. It is a big pub, but does get busy.More

We had heard about The Courthouse from Friends and how good it was, we thought that the Staff were brilliant last night, the food was absolutely delicious, the Service was excellent, infact the Manageress and her Staff were spot on, lovely infact, there were alot...of us and we all had a superb evening, we would thoroughly recommend going, the atmosphere was very good too and a Live band! 10/10 it couldn't have been better with fantastic Friends too a perfect evening.More

Had a birthday meal here. The food was amazing. I had a fillet steak (special treat) and it was cooked to perfection. Staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend

The staff here are really excellent and attentive. We did not book but where easily accommodated and they could not do enough for us. They will let you know what the specials options are (I choose the delicious Chicken in a cranberry and mustard sauce)....Overall this turned out to be a very good choice. We ate quite early but it filled up really quickly which showed how popular it was.More

Had a meal here with a group of friends, and everyone could find plenty of things to choose from on the menu. Everyone said their meal was excellent. Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and nothing...was too much trouble I would absolutely recommend ... and eating there not only saved me cooking and washing up, but helps support a local business to stay openMore

Not being from Rugby we didn't know what to expect. Staff friendly and the food was very good and excellent value. Couldn't have asked for more.

First visitand what could I say,absolutely perfect. Tasty food, reasonably priced,lots for your money. I had lamb shank,my partnersirloin steak,it was so well cooked there wasn't,any room for complaint. The staff were so,so friendly it is no wonder this pub gets my thumbs up. Been wanting to check this place's food out for a while. I decided to have the steak with mash and peas. I think the salad came with it. They do seem to understand what a meal should be. I'm definitely returning for another.
