This was the best Indian food I’ve had ever. Atmosphere was amazing, staffs were amazing, food was amazing. From the outside it looks small but my lord is it massive. Deffo highly recommend it. #fridaynights.

Been visiting the vine for almost 30 years and is still my favourite place to eat. Food is consistently good and the chicken tikka is still the best in the area by far. My husband had the goat Rajistani and I had chicken tikka chilli...both with masala fries and a garlic naan to share. Portions are large and beautifully cooked. Look forward to our next visit.More

The food is great, tasty and big portions. Drinks are overpriced. However my 1 star rating is purely due to the reaction i got when I asked for allergen information due to my friend having a severe nut allergy, by that I mean she could...die ! 4 members of staff later and I was told and I quote "Don't eat here, if you have a nut allergy. Everything contains nuts". That is not what is stated on the menu and this is incredibly dangerous. Do better.More

Been going to this bar matches days for years, not any more. Beers gone down hill and the price uphill. When my husband queried the price was told “ it’s match day” This bar is always very busy on match days, why do they feel...they have to take the pee when there is a match on.More

Another excellent evening with great food and friendly staff. Todays meal was chicken jalfrezi and a lamb special dish. Both dishes where cooked and tasted beautifully plenty of spice and fresh blend of Coriander peppers. The meat was cooked to perfection the lamb mince and...the mutton was lovely. Very pleasant.More

Very quiet evening visit, the place only had about ten folks eating it used to be very busy. Price was average for two mains, a side and s tonic water. The guy serving had little knowledge of the dishes when we asked for information Goat...Dhansak main, we asked for medium, but it came out hot. Very little Goat meat with lots of bone, no lentils visible in the sauce. Mixed Grill was a good size portion, but again was very spicy. Service fast, but there was a five minute gap between the meals arriving, and given how quiet it was there was no need.More

What a find! Lovely ambience, attentive, friendly staff and the food was excellent, and at such reasonable prices. Probably the best sea bass we've ever had anywhere. Generous portions too. Were there just before a cup game at The Hawthorns so not normally in the...area, which is a shame, but any time we're up that way we're definitely making a bee line for the place. Last minute decision after leaving Birmingham shopping trip .Hadn't had the time for few years to go but left feeling absolutely deleted I visited once again . Beautiful staff on arrival greeted you and took drinks order and also an order for take away and...also and order for eating at premises myself. Atmosphere magical great people always sitting around you. food arrived quickly and was mouth watering delicious ,had to put some food in container as it was too tasty not to finish laster at home or next day . would highly recommend to families and couples and singles. First visit here and sadly the last, partner took me for dinner as he said it used to be really lovely in the past, today certainly wasn’t a treat, ordered a king prawn dhansak and a curried goat , the food was at our table...within 2 minutes of ordering , the dhansak was flavourless and the boiled rice stuck together (as if it had been microwaved ???.) Must say it’s the worst curry I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of anything positive to say about it !! The pub atmosphere was lovely , seems like a great local pub with friendly people, just wouldn’t chose to eat there.More

This place is amazing. I used to have an Office in West Brom so went regularly with work colleagues. It was fantastic years ago and just gets better and better. We now live over an hour away but travel for lunch every few weeks with...a couple of our neighbours. Every visit the food has been superb. The staff and service are second to none. The tables are thoroughly clean with a minute of being vacated. The whole place is immaculate and run in a very friendly/efficient manner. Generally try the Specials as we like to try different meals each visit and never ever have any of us been disappointed. We’ve been to numerous Curry House including most in Birminghams Balti Quarter and this surpasses all! Best curry place in Midlands if not in the UK. Highly recommended and well worth our travel. Can’t wait for our next visit!More

After visiting the Vine for many years (@18) with sometimes going there 3 times a week, the last couple of times it has been quite underwhelming. We have been frequenting another spot as the prices creeping up, poor service and shrinking portions has led us...to find value elsewhere. Last time in Feb 23 only went there as the Red Lion was closed. The Methi/Tikka skewers used to be gigantic and delicious, the portions now are half the size as they used to be and twice the price. Not to mention the cost of a round! One wine and one pint is £4 more than my local and hard to justify. West London prices in West Brom. Even visiting frequently, Suki doesn't even look up from drinking with his cronies. Never been greeted, a simple hello, smile or good to see you.....I could walk by Suki 3 times in a week (leaving my money behind) and zero acknowledgement. I think the Vine has sadly had its day with exception to football days due to its location. I'm not up for being disappointed yet another time so feel its time to pack it in and stop giving my custom. There are plenty other bbq places near by where you are pleasantly greeted and your custom is genuinely appreciated.More
