Th Oystercatcher has a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I had Mothers day lunch today and was so impressed with their diverse and varied menu. I had Calamari to start- a perfect portion for a starter and the calamari was not dry and rubbery. My main was a roast beef dinner-good portion size and well... More

We had heard bad things about the Oyster Catcher but it looked so pretty we had to give it a go. We wished we hadn't bothered. Very nicely set out, lots of tables, well spaced. Bar staff friendly. However, we ordered and then we waited and we waited. Around us, others were waiting a long time too but it didn't... More

18 of us celebrated my sisters 50th birthday here. We went on a Sunday at 2 PM and couldn't fault the place. The service was brilliant and the food was lovely all at very good value for money. We will be returning!

Popped in for a quick lunch , staff are pleasant and service was quick considering it was fairly busy , I had the chicken and portobello mushroom homemade pizza and my husband had the wagyu burger , which were both delicious , washed down with the aspell draft cider , prices reasonable on par with most recent pub restaurants

I have never been to a restaurant that had so many menu items "not available"! What a shame that the restaurant, which is part of a national chain, cannot supply normal fare such as steak or even provide a cheese board. The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful and generally a delight but without help on what is on... More

This was our second visit in six months. Seated quickly. Drinks delivered quickly but food was, once again, slow to arrive. If we hadn't got a quiet afternoon we would have given up on waiting for dessert. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is lovely BUT.....the kitchen needs to speed up.
