Have been a few times for meals either at evenings or weekends. Lovely roast dinner reasonably priced. Wait can be a little long as so busy but worth it.

Went to the Oystercatcher last night for a late birthday celebration. We were 6 members of one family and from arrival to leaving it was a lovely experience. My Mum is in a wheelchair so when we booked we asked for an accessible table which we got and we didn't feel as if we were crowded in and sitting on other... 40 minute wait for a steak sandwich that I wouldn't feed to my dogs, it was pure tasteless gristle. All the tables in the garden were full of glasses and meal plates with food still on attracting swarms of flies and wasps, our table remained uncleaned until the food arrived, the service was a joke struggling to serve a handful of... Stopped in for a quick lunch. Was told they were under new management (think this is the case). Food and service were excellent. The roast salmon on stuffed bell peppers was delicious (it was one of the specials) and the chicken pie my partner had was simple but tasty. Didn't have time for starters or dessert, but wished we had.... More

We used to go here quite a lot but had not been for a while. We were passing and decided to pop in for lunch. The restaurant was freezing, the two waitresses were semi efficient but just seemed to be going through the motions. The food was dreadful! The roast chicken arrived as a whole bird! This should have been... More

I went for lunch with friends. Two of us picked the chicken linguine, that was our only mistake. It was tasteless. Our other friend had the pork chop which she said was delicious! We had the coconut milk sorbet for dessert which was super nice!!! The service and atmosphere were very good.

We've been here in the past and had had very pleasant meals. However we arrived at 7pm on a Sunday evening to be told there are no roasts left! We felt this was poor management but chose other food. When it arrived the vegetables were literally burnt black. We complained and other vegetables eventually arrived. We we asked if we'd... More
