Stopped by chance at Sunday lunch for drinks and nibbles. Lovely looking pub and garden on the outside, typically dark and cramp in the inside. Staff were very friendly, not busy when we arrived but got incredibly full quickly with an hour wait for sharing...More

Thank you for your review. As soon as someone brought to our attention the lock on the door wasn't working I fixed it. Please don't knock our pub for being dark and cramped as it is much loved by everyone who uses it. The sharing...More

Staying with friends they took us to this great pub. It was quiet when we arrived but by the end if our meal it had a nice buzz. Great food, good local Gins and local beer. So good we we back before going home.

have always loved going there, especially on a summers evening. However we found a member of the waitress staff quite abrupt and rude at serving our table. The food was also not up to the usual standard so don't know quite what has happened there.More

We stopped off here in the evening on the way back to London after a day out in the Sussex countryside. I imagine it would be lovely to sit outside on a sunny day as it is in a nice setting in the countryside yet...More

Stopped on the off chance at this public house with my disabled sister as this venue was recommended by a local. If you have a disabled person in a small wheelchair with a bit of manoeuvring you will be able to access the pub but...More

The place wasn't that busy and it wasn't early or late. There were 5 staff members behind the bar - 4 of them seemed very young. Perhaps it was their first day...? Have you ever walked into a pub/restaurant and felt you were invisible? Have...More

We ate here after having a drive out in our old convertible (roof down, obviously) and made an unplanned stop here for a drink and some food. We ordered drinks at the bar and took them and a menu and sat outside enjoying a cricket...More
