This was my first visit to the pub having had it recommended by a friend. Lunching with three others: the menu was varied; the four different mains we ordered were substantial, well cooked and well presented; the staff were friendly and obliging. I can't fault...More

A warm welcome as first timers and excellent, charming service throughout. Good selection of ales. A wide-ranging menu and top-quality fare.

Quite old fashioned. Loos could do with an upgrade. Food OK though why have a salad with ham, egg and chips. Friendly staff.

We chanced upon this pub on the way into Petworth. A great variety of food on offer with a comfy cosy feel inside. Great place for walkers and dog owners.
