What a great restaurant, as locals I can't believe it has slipped under our radar. Dinner last night, 2 couples, and we all absolutely loved it. Fantastic food, the tapas were scruptious as was dessert, awesome beer and wine selection and very friendly service. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the upper mountains. Can't wait to come back.

I had to book somewhere in Blackheath for a party of six including two visitors from France and luckily we ended up at this lovely, friendly place. I have to say that I love Tapas and initially felt that the prices seemed a bit high (but I was probably comparing this to Spain where the prices are very cheap) however... More

We stopped by on our way following TripAdvisor recommendations and were not disappointed. The selection of tapas was delicious and they were all fresh and tasty. Place itself is clean and cosy with very friendly lady serving the dishes. We'll come back again!

We recently returned to Escarpment for lunch on Saturday and the food and atmosphere were just as pleasant as our previous visit. Fantastic luncheon special including a glass of wine, the meatballs, stuffed mushrooms and calamari. Terrific choice of food and the wine is always good quality and thoroughly enjoyable. Must stay over in the mountains next visit so that... More

My husband and I have eaten here several times and its always the same. Just ok. The problem is that the menu never changes and you are never excited to try something new because there is NEVER anything new except for maybe the cocktail of the day. Perhaps the chef has become uninspired or simply cant be bothered but as... More

The food was great. An impressive choice. My friend is a vegetarian and was really happy with the menu. Service was fast friendly and not intrusive. It wasn't really busy but a few tables and everyone seemed satisfied. The restaurant is clean and tidy Perfect for s long or short lunch depending on your time restrictions or not. Would recommend... Absolutely perfect meal, highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms! Restaurant was busy and we happened to try ordering our dessert right when a huge table had just ordered. Waitress let us know there would be a slight delay and offered us complimentary glass of port while we waited. As it was, the wait was very minimal and truely worth it! If... More

Was looking for a restaurant for dinner during busy holiday period tonight and was fortunate to get a booking here. A great decision! Very tough decision to choose from good range of tapas but settled on the whole camembert, spicy meatballs and the pork belly. Found it hard to leave out the garlic prawns and pear & walnut salad. Each... More

If you are in the Blackheath or Katoomba area, do yourself a favour and stop in here for dinner. My husband and I ate there tonight and had a wonderful selection including Stuffed Mushrooms (not like any you've had before), Smoked Salmon Capers and Toast, Slow Cooked Pork Belly in Hoisin Sauce, Garlic Prawns and a fantastic dessert platter for...
