Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Le Tearoom is an absolute MUST when in the North of France. The owners, Nick and Judy, are the most genuine and hospitable hosts from the moment you arrive till the instant you leave. They're great conversationalists with so much to share about their story...- I highly recommend asking them about it. If you're lucky, you will be greeted by their sweet four legged family member, Polly, who loves to say hello the guests. Last but not least, the tearoom has incredibly peaceful aura that makes you want to keep coming back for more! My favorite thing to is sit under the orchard while listening to the sounds of nature and munching on Judy's delicious fresh scones paired with the "summer puddin" jam and cream - but regardless of what you order, it's a guarantee you that you will enjoy it. Be sure to take some of their fresh jams for the road, because you'll definitely be craving it once you leave.More

Being curious and wanting "a bit of England" in France we decided to go the "Le Tearoom". And we were not disappointed! The owners are extremely friendly. We ordered the scones, cake and tea. All freshly made, even the marmelades. Everything was very delicious. Home...made scones, fresh clotted cream, three sorts of special and very tastefull marmelades and freshly baked ginger cake, we enjoyed it all...! We will certainly come back when we're in this region again. For a moment we thought being in the UK again...More

If I told you there is a converted farm in Northern France occupied by ex film makers turned jam makers where you can enjoy a delightful Indian meal with hospitality even warmer than the spices, you might not believe me. We recently enjoyed our second visit to Le Tearoom and have tried both the afternoon tea and then 'le brunch Indien', which we actually had early one evening! We would unreservedly recommend both for the warm welcome, the slightly quirky surroundings and particularly the quality...of the food. The afternoon tea is very traditional with excellent home-made jams, cream, fresh scones and cake. Absolutely yummy! We feel this was surpassed however by the Indian brunch, which was freshly prepared, extremely tasty and again of excellent quality. We feel both represented excellent value and will definitely try the Scottish or English brunch on a future visit. Le Tearoom is a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. The hosts could not have been more welcoming.More

Following on from our earlier visit to Le Tearoom, and experiencing their delightful scones and teas, we booked a return visit for Judy and Nick's British beef and dumpling brunch. As always, our hosts were very welcoming and we were served a delicious mushroom in...sauce starter, served with a tasty wood-fired baguette. The main course of beef and dumplings was accompanied by mashed potato with celeriac and carrots. A perfect winter warmer that we highly recommend. The meal was completed with finely sliced cooked apples, with thick whipped cream and a dried cherry sauce. Perfect!More

Highly recommended tearoom in a lovely setting in rural Hauts de France. The ambiance of the tearoom is delightful and its size lends a certain exclusivity and personalisation to the visit. Hosts Judy and Nick are most welcoming. Their scones and cakes are delicious, and...perfectly accompanied by a selection of teas - the Scottish breakfast variety is particularly light and refreshing. With ample scones supplied and a selection of homemade jams to die for, Le Tearoom is perfect for whiling away the time in the company of family and friends. We will certainly be returning to try their Indian brunch!More
